Let's discuss the good, bad and ugly... Well, let's make that the great, could be a lil better, the not so pretty & the delicious! The great - Robert is an excellent host! Very responsive and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The tent is exactly as pictured, durable, very clean, comfortable bed & bed linens and just secluded enough for privacy. I enjoyed all the Coleman extras; lanterns, above bed string lights, speaker / phone charger, fans, BBQ grill. Location is perfect! Near 3 state parks & a couple big waterfalls. As for the could be better - this is the shower located in the pavilion. The 2 showers are new & clean with nice tile and fixtures. However... The hot water was very slow on the 1st shower but worked great after waiting at least 4 - 5 minutes for the shower to get hot. The 2nd day the water never got hot in the shower. But it did get hot at the bathroom sink. The water from the shower head also overshoots the shower ledge causing a lot of water on the floor outside of the shower. This was slippery! The lights in this bathroom was on a motion detector so while in the shower with the curtain pulled the lights would go out and it gets DARK in there. I had to pull the shower curtains so the motion detector would award me with light to shower. As for the not so pretty - this is the entry to the camp & It has so much potential. Big brick, walled enteranace with double gates & a really nice signage. The planters in the brick entry are in disrepair with a dead bush in the center and some broken brick. I was hesitant to enter the camp with the entrance being seemingly neglected but I'm glad I did. The entrance is your 1st impression and could be a wow factor if it was given a lil love. As for the delicious! - the Rose Garden Restaurant just outside of the camp entry is wonderful! I ate every meal here the two days I stayed, it's Home Cookin, the BLT & catfish was delicious & the full desert cabinets looks like a dream!

I can't believe how big the tents were! The queen size bed was very comfortable and we really enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking coffee in the morning watching the deer. Loved having access to showers and restrooms at the beautiful pavilion. We kayaked the Caney River which was right down the street. We can't wait to return in the fall when the leaves are changing.
