“Kurt exceeded our expectations for our anniversary from the beginning when we arrived to a bottle of Champagne and a Happy Anniversary card. He was attentive and more than accommodating for our late arrival Friday and was still up at the break of dawn Saturday and Sunday to bring us delicious coffee and fresh, homemade muffins (some of which we used to lure a dog off the side of a busy road). His property is absolutely stunning and his 40 years of work and love for his land clearly shows. His gorgeous campsite gives you a beautiful view of the lake and wonderful sunrises/sunsets. You could spend the day at the camp and not get bored. His recommendations were spot on for hiking the nearby Lana Falls or drive just 15 min to some nearby breweries/restaurants with wide selections of brews and food. We can't thank Kurt enough he set the standard for our future Tentrr experiences, can't wait to go back!”
“We absolutely loved our stay at Kurt's site. It's a beautiful, peaceful location with all the amenities you could possibly need, plus tons of extra touches like flowers for the table, a s'mores kit, and more. Kurt was very friendly, communicative and helpful, and even had a campfire ready for our arrival. Highly recommend coming during autumn to enjoy the beautiful fall foliage, although I'm sure it's lovely at any season.”
“Kurt and his wife were very helpful and friendly. The campsite was clean and set up very well. We brought a few camping things with us but we didn’t use any of it as everything was supplied. We had firewood, water, utensils even salt and pepper. Everything was thought of to make our experience a wonderful and carefree time. We were even given a box of s’mores supplies that was a lovely surprise. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it.”
“Beautiful location and great hosts! This was our first Tentrr trip and it set the bar high. Kurt and Wendy were extremely friendly and helpful and the fresh baked goodies and coffee in the morning were fantastic. Highlights of the trip were kayaking through the water lilies to the lake, the fire pit, and waking up to a lake view. Would definitely recommend this site!”
“It was pouring rain for our day through Vermont, but our Tent kept us dry all night. It is a beautiful site and I hope to get back there when it isn’t raining to take in all the cool things it had to offer. Kurt & Wendy went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable despite the rain. So many nice touches at this site. Especially enjoyed the morning muffins and coffee. Thanks again for your hospitality!”
“WOAH!!! Kurt and Wendy really out did themselves with this campsite. I have stayed at a few tentrr campsites and I have to say this one takes the cake. From the moment you pull up you enter into a beautiful oasis with a stunning view of the cattail that you can explore with kayaks and much much more.
PS: Wendy makes some tasty muffins in her wake up package.”
“Cattail Cove is a wonderful spot to spend a few nights under the stars! Wendy and Kurt take a lot of pride in their campsite and were on hand for anything I needed. This is truly a 5 star campsite and is suitable for a larger group or family.
I loved kayaking in the lake and exploring the gorgeous Vermont countryside nearby. There is excellent hiking, biking, restaurants and breweries within a short drive.
I would definitely return!”
