“Although my family had been to Site before we could not find the campsite parking. Park office did not know and it was only once we searched extensively ourselves, called the camp keeper with no response, then asked a lawn mower and park safety patrol where it was located that we could find the site. Once we found it, we could not identify which site was ours there was only a small non-visible marker eventually found. The online description did not mention how incredibly far- maybe 3/4 mile, walk to site B from parking lot it was- completely unacceptable especially since the access road was closed meaning all of our stuff would have to be carried in. After many phone calls, I was able to secure the closer ( and least muddy) site. After 2 plus hours it took to secure the site and walk all belongings there with 2 small children we had used up our afternoon. The entire site was on a slope so all our cooking pots would slide off the grill and sitting on the bench to eat was very uncomfortable. We had to move entire set up onto the small cowpath just to be a little more level. Although it was convenient to have many of the supplies already on site, the disappointment of being unable to find our site, not being able contact our camp keeper, having only remote access to the site and dealing with the slope certainly scarred our entire enjoyment of our trip. I hope that Tentrr can provide better directions and service to customers in the future.”
“On the plus side, the view could not be beat and the Tentrr set up helped us stick it out during a severe summer thunderstorm. Downside was that the address we received for GPS was wrong, walk from parking to the site was a long way to carry all our cooking gear, water, etc and the path was super muddy. The site in general was soggy with big mud puddles right in the path. Would return but really wish a nearer parking lot (which exists) could be designated for tentrr campers.”
