Great camp site, a little pricey and the address takes you to the visitor center Not the actual site. The train across the river is loud and runs all night but that’s expected camping near active train track. Overall it was great and had wonderful hiking.

The tent was clean, all supplies were in good condition, and we had a great time. Props to the camp manager for having the water jug pre-filled for us, since its a bit of a walk from the parking area.

We enjoyed our stay! Ammenities were as listed. Check-in was very smooth (thank you, Christopher!). The train is loud at night, but we went in expecting this. Good camping option close to many of the NRG trails, rafting sites and more!

The campsite was a very nice experience. The area is quiet and there is plenty to do around the park. My children enjoyed their stay!

Ok, so how do I say it with out sounding weird.. Lets begin this way 1. The campsite is not a easy place to get to.. you have to walk for all of 5 minutes to get there from Parking lot. if you are the kind that like to take a break every 30 seconds then it will be longer 2. There is dirt all around. 3. Leaves be falling all over 4. Tall trees are in your way. Don't know why they keep just standing in the same spot.. 5. Wild animals are abound.. saw a squirrel and and plenty of Hawks meandering in the sky...none were wearing masks..ugghhh 6. There are trains moving coal and they are looooooonnnnngggggg. If you don't like it stop using electricity and ride a horse. 7. If you are a complaining type, this is the perfect place to go because there is incredibly few things to complain about... which you know is the perfect topic to complain about 8. Ohhh.. at night it gets dark, like really dark Will I go there again? maybe if they put a wheel barrow to haul my stuff from parking lot to the campsite. I was walking back and forth on that trail so much that I got all my hiking done taking my stuff to and from the camp to car. Talk about complaining right??????

Perfect place for a quiet weekend in the woods, right next to the lake. Exactly as described. Just be prepared for a short walk down a path from the parking lot. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed all the Tentrr aspects of our stay - the tent, bed, chairs, tables, etc made for a comfortable stay ... the only issue being the solar shower (no place or way to easily hang it high enough, the valves leaked, the tube kinked and easily came loose). Site issues: This site would be much better with vehicle access. The frequent trains across the river were very loud and long.

We had a great time! A few suggestions would be to allow tentrrs to take belongings through gate and then park outside of gate. We are in our 60’s and had to make 4 trips carrying totes, coolers and other heavy equipment Overall a great experience and will/have recommended this adventure to others!
