“Worth your money. Great location, plenty of fire wood. Clean area and tucked away to have plenty of privacy. Marking signs could be better, but make sure you’re paying attention and follow the road.”
“Full confession: don’t book a tent Airbnb knowing it’s going to be 100% chance of rain and the lows in the 30s. This place would be a romantic fairy tail in the spring. I left after one night simply because I ran out of firewood and didn’t know that the “heat” amenity was a fire stove inside the tent. Super cool, but I burned through 3 bundles in one night and then had to face driving out of the mud in a Honda Civic. With some mild fishtailing and a few cuss words. I made it! The donkey brays and cow moos at night were a nice touch. Definitely an experience I won’t forget! David seems sweet, btw”
“Everything was tidy upon arrival and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. They supplied a bit of firewood, but I would suggest bringing your own if you plan to have fire going for more than an hour. Bathroom was located inside the tent and utilizes disposable sanitary bags filled with gel to neutralize odors. The location was private and quiet. It is a bit pricey for what it is, but it was a wonderful stay nonetheless and David was very quick with his responses. I would certainly stay again and would recommend to anyone wanting to camp privately with minimal camp set-up/preparation.”
“Cathis Farm Tentrr site was a pleasant getaway during this COVID time. We were able to read, and relax, walk and exercise, cook and enjoy s’mores. It was a quick 2 hr drive from home and nearby Carver Creek state park was a fun visit. David the property owner was friendly and accessible and helpful. Great NC getaway!”
“We had an amazing time at Cathis Farm! David and his son greeted us when we arrived and they were incredibly nice. The campsite is tucked away just enough to feel secluded and private. We arrived with sun and had a cloudy moody day the next, but the canvas tent was an amazingly cozy spot to play cards and relax. We had a fire burning almost our entire stay. There is tons of wood to gather around the campsite. David has put in a very comfortable bed which surprised us, and it is setup fully with sheets and bedding. Overall a great first stay with Tentrr!”
