“WOW! What an amazing experience and property! We can’t say enough about Matt and his family. They were very accommodating and very helpful with all of our supplies and stay in general. Cooperstown’s Baseball Hall of Fame is literally 5 mins down the road as well as swimming, lake beaches, boating, Kayaking, etc. This was a perfect mini vacation for our family and kiddos. Would highly recommend this site! Thank you for a great time, can’t wait to come back and visit!”
“Pierstown Hops Retreat is a beautiful, secluded spot next to a babbling brook. It is a short walk through a groomed path. It is a feast for the eyes. There are dragonflies and birds fluttering around the meadow. The path goes between two ponds with frogs and lily pads. It was very easy to get to the camp even in the dark, with the help our flashlights. Everything is very neat and tidy with beautiful rolling hills full of hops fields. We were a short drive from downtown Cooperstown. We had cold delicious locally brewed beer waiting for us upon arrival. Our only regret is that we didn't get to spend more time at our camp. We had easy instructions from Matthew about where to find everything we needed. We were so thrilled to be accommodated on short notice. Staying at Pierstown only enhanced our short trip to Cooperstown. I highly recommend this camp. We can't wait to return one day soon!
