“We stayed at Pink Mountain after going to a concert at Ommegang. The site was close but far enough that we felt distanced from the city. The site is extremely private which we had hoped for. All amenities were set up and we were thankful to see there was extra water, soap, lanterns and some other things we didn't expect. My only two areas I would mention that could use some improvement was the drive... More markers would be helpful. It was tough to navigate at night, there are multiple turn off's before the site that could be confusing. It would also have been nice if the pit of mud at the end of the drive directly to the site was filled in so we could park closer. I emailed Matt hoping to ease some of my anxieties about finding the spot but never heard back. There was no real check in and we did see a truck going up and down the dirt road which if it was the owner it would have been nice to hear a hello. Overall it was a great stay and just what we needed. There is cell service which was also a huge plus!”
“Very close to downtown area. Very isolated in the woods up a trail you might not expect to drive down. If you're looking for a rustic retreat in a secluded yet close to amenities location, this should work well for you! If you want some company and more amenities (like running water), it won't be for you. All in all, we had a grea time.”
