Everything was taken care of for us so all we had to do was show up with food and relax. The sights were spectacular, the frogs were adorable, and the camp site was flawless. 10/10!

We LOVED our night at Beavers Landing! The site has everything you want for camping without any of the hassle, and Nick was easy to communicate with. The beautiful lake is full of frogs and listening to/watching them was a great way to spend our time; when we weren’t out on the water in either the row boat or kayak. We had a few storms roll through and everything stayed dry with the tent and the canopy. The rainbows were worth a little mud. Looking forward to our next visit!

LOVE LOVE LOVE. Nick was such a great host!! He even left a cute little treat and toy for the dog! (So thoughtful). There is everything you could ever need there. We forgot coffee cups, he had them. We loved the option to use either the row boat or the kayak that was provided for the site. Nick also took it the extra step to call around to local breweries and restaurants to see if they allow dogs. We ended up stopping at Voodoo Brewing, and went to eat at Firehouse Tap and Grill in Meadville. If you are able to go, I definitely would (both places are dog friendly) The solar lights were such a nice touch! As well as the candle and battery operated lights in the tent! Seriously, i can’t say enough great things about this place. I will definitely be back!! The ONLY thing I would change is the steps up to the deck/porch area. The rocks that are placed there are a little unstable. If you’re a light sleeper, I suggest taking ear plugs as the frogs from the pond can get a little loud.

The campsite is in a nice relaxing space where we could watch the frogs leap off the Lilly pads into the pond that was steps away from our tent. It is a very beautiful site and we would consider returning for sure! We did find ourselves cold at night because the temperatures went into the low 60’s/high 50s. The wood stove was not set up for the summer months and I didn’t realize that would be the case. This is the only thing I would change because having a source of heat accessible just in case a cold summer night pops up is helpful. We ended up going to Walmart and purchasing extra blankets for the second night so we could stay warm.

Really enjoyed our overnight at this very private and well-prepared camp site! Our host shared a very informative message ahead of our trip, including instructions to find the site and how to access the amenities and supplies once there. The site was a bit tricky to locate & the dirt road is rustic (luckily it was mostly dry and not too muddy during our visit) but it's worth it for the privacy and the pond view at the site! Our host very kindly stocked the site with plenty of split firewood & logs and kindling for the fire. The (brand-new) fire pit included a food grate on a swivel for easy food handling & temperature control over the fire. The hospitality continued inside the tent, which had a nicely made queen bed (very comfortable and warm!) with plenty of pillows, towels, bottled water, and even included dog bowls and a welcome gift for our dog. My favorite added bonuses were the scented candle for soft light inside the tent, and the two battery powered lanterns, all super helpful after the sun set. Our host also stocked the dining cabinet with cups, bowls, cutlery, a powerful lighter, and cooking utensils. We did not use the camp stove but there was plenty of propane stocked for that too. Another great bonus was the kayak & paddle provided - it was fun to be able to hop into the water and explore the pond via kayak. Was really relaxing to watch the sun set reflect in the pond, then hear the tree frogs chirp all night. We spent hours on the Adirondack chairs on the porch! We did not need any assistance while at the site, but our host was super helpful and easy to communicate with ahead of the trip and afterwards. Only thing I would change is to pack fishing rods next time! Would 100% recommend this camp site for a relaxing escape!
