“It was amazing we had a great time very relaxing. We ended up staying in cabin A Instead of B because we followed the map online. We did not even see the letter on the deck till we were leaving. Anyone that goes be prepared to walk downhill to unload stuff and back up to load. We really enjoyed our time. Wish they were better kept up but we made it our home for the night.”
“We get there the attendant didn’t greet you she said
Well they don’t tell us when people are coming, then says go to camp sign and turn left your camp be down there somewhere… ok we get to place there’s no parking unless you have a 4x4 or if you have a off road vehicle, whatever I parked on opposite side of road against trees. Then we go down to the spot it’s not well Maintained at all, garbage from last people was still in trash didn’t touch it we used Walmart bags for our garbage, says provides toilet paper yup it did but the two in there were shredded to pieces, says fire pit and grill on site WRONG no grill for us to cook
On and the fire pit had big hole in bottom. And if you wanna eat on the table be sure you like moss and broken down tables. The park is not maintained like it use to be everything is closed and they’re just letting it go instead of trying fix and make it gorgeous again. I was so excited and then so
Disappointed.”
Hey there, thanks for your feedback here. Without honest reviews like yours, we wouldn't know where to improve. We are very sorry to hear that you had a less-than-ideal stay at one of our campsites. He is aware of them and moving forward with future bookings, will be more mindful of the items you mentioned.
Again, we apologize for the situation that occurred, but we look forward to addressing all of the maintenance items you have brought to our attention in order to make the park as gorgeous as it should be.
Cheers!

“Camp was clean and stocked. Location was beautiful. However, the "parking spot" for this location was at a 10% grade, gravel, and required 4 high to traverse.”
“We had a great, peaceful stay at the Tentrr campsite on Haynes lake. You don't need an alarm clock , the geese will wake you up at dawn. The bathrooms were very clean and an easy walk from our site. The hiking trails were well marked and the scenery was great.”
“We arrived at our Tentrr site and were impressed at first, but realized no parking was available . It was quite a trek downward for 2 seniors to move their clothing, food and cooking supplies. That night we were issued a tornado warning and were not sure what to do but the tent withstood the strong winds and rain which was a definite plus… quite a scary night.
We do have a suggestion that the “Loo” be placed outside the tent instead . Even though a bag was placed inside the smell was overwhelming and after 3 nights was sickening. We would suggest that if “Loo” can not be placed outside several blue bags be placed in tent for several changing.”
“We really loved our first Tentrr stay! You still get the tranquility of primitive camping but with a comfortable bed/way less stuff to haul and set up. I will say the location was less remote than what I thought based on the pictures. I thought the other Tentrr site was further away/denser woods in-between and was under the impression the campground itself was north of the site. Well the bathhouse is north but you are in the campground. We had polite neighbors and this didn't end up being an issue just FYI if you are wanting something secluded. We will definitely book a Tentrr site again!”
“Our lakeside Tent was very roomy for 3 people. We scooted the queen bed that is provided over to the corner and our buddy set his cot up in the other corner, with plenty of room to spare. There are 2 benches provided, one was in the tent at the foot of the bed, the other outside on the porch/deck. There is a cabinet with doors sitting outside, useful for storage if you're staying longer than we did. We brought firewood, not too much laying around our camp, temps were in the low 50s so the fire felt good and the pit had a top to heat our premade meals. There are 2 Adirondack chairs that were placed beside the pit a few feet from the water. All sitting lakeside. The guys both fished and caught a couple of bream which were thrown back. There was a big turtle that poked his head up a few inches from the edge of the water, and 2 families of geese in the lake, which came to visit in the morning. We counted 13 baby geese. We had wanted to rent a cabin in the park and stay 2 nights, but they were booked for Friday night and have a 2 night minimum if you're booking online. We had questions and wanted to try the Tentrr so we booked it for Saturday night and it was great! We will do it again. The distance between the campsites are far enough apart so you're not crowded but close enough if your friends wanted their own tent, you could hang out til bedtime or share meals. It wasn't a holiday weekend in mid-May and the campers were out there so bet it really gets busier in the summer months. Loved it, will go again.”
