“Great spot! Susan and Will were very attentive and accommodating. Terrific recommendations for the area. The spot was secluded, quiet, and comfortable. We were there during some rough weather (thunderstorms and a heat wave), but were still comfortable. Loved the site, it had everything we needed, and spacious. Highly recommend!”
“The site was beautiful, in a picturesque clearing a very short walk through a wooded path from the parking area, which was in the adjacent field with stunning views. (I think the field had just been cleared or the distance to the site would have been slightly further). Will was a gracious host and helped us transport our things to the site. The tent and air mattress were as clean as could be expected in the great outdoors and in excellent condition. Susan and Will had pitched an additional tent for us if we needed it which was much appreciated, and they provided extra water, firewood and camping chairs. We all loved it (us and our three kids) and would definitely go back to Will and Susan's site on our next visit to the Cooperstown area.”
“Lovely weekend in Cooperstown! Susan and Will were perfect hosts and helped us get settled/unpacked since the property is a short walk from the parking. This was our second time using Tentrr and its interesting to see how some sites come with things while others dont and vice versa. All in all, we managed and had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend. The surrounding area is a lot of fun and we loved exploring the area. Our dog was in HEAVEN! Highly recommend staying at this gem of a spot! We will certainly be back.”
“Will and Susan were very good hosts. They were very eager to make sure we had everything we needed-from what was provided to recommendations on what to see and do, and places to eat. Will even gave us an extra pack of Ommegang brewery-only release!
The site was very secluded. While we did not see any wildlife, we hear wild turkey and deer frequent the area.
If the weather is as cold and damp as Memorial Day was this year (50s-60s) definitely bring something more than a sheet for insulation between you and the air mattress. A three season sleeping bag should do the trick.
Cooperstown and surrounding area is a lovely place to explore.”
