Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“This was a really fun spot to camp at. We really had a great time. The bed was comfortable and the space felt like our own. Make sure to bring a wagon or something to help bring your stuff to the camp ground.
My only complaint is that the trains do run all night and can wake you up while your sleeping. Other than that it’s a great place highly recommend.”
“Really nice getaway spot. There is about a half mile walk from the parking lot to the tent so it can be difficult to bring your belongings all in one trip. There’s also a massive bee hive above the tent, they didn’t bother us but something to keep in mind if you’re allergic. Would absolutely stay again”
“We enjoyed the stay and it was exactly as pictured. The address sent took us to someone’s backyard and we had to drive around and found the Lodge. They gave us a paper map which wasn’t completely up to date and we got lost again. Ended up waiving someone down and she gave directions! Once we got the the site it was smooth sailing and beautiful.”
“Everything was awesome! The view, the atmosphere. Only thing that was aggravating was we had to carry everything we brought from the parking lot to the camp site, which was a good walk. Maybe you should invest in some guard rails down the trail on the River side to allow people to drive up to the site and unload and load everything! Other than that, it was perfect. Thank you for allowing us to stay with Tentrr!”
“We had a wonderful TENTRR experience. The tent was very clean and had everything as promised. Ryan, our host was very helpful with all questions and responded timely. Beautiful area, very private, the trains were a little loud but were sparse and we both found it charming. Highly recommend site H for the view of the dam and your just a short walk to the waterfall. I would suggest bringing a wagon, if you have one for hauling items.”
“This stay was horrible. even our dogs hated it.
1. you get conflicting information from tentrr. they sent a video explaining the stay, which said it would be a drive up site. You will need to carry your things to the site.
2. the mattress protector was disgusting and covered in stains.
3. the toilet was also dirty and had weird sticky jelly we could see. didn't go anywhere near it after that.
4. the tent zippers aren't fully functional. the screened enclosure didn't close.
5. you will not sleep. trains go right by the site all night and sirens go off. this was not disclosed on the listing or anywhere after.”
Hello Rebekah,
I'm sorry to hear about the terrible experience you and your dogs had. I have gone through and edited all the info so it disclaims it isn't a drive-up site. We also put about the trains being a nuisance to guests. We've also stepped up our game to ensure the campsites and amenities are in quality and acceptable conditions for our guests. I appreciate all the feedback you've had. If you have any more questions or concerns feel free to reach out to me at hbowen@tentrr.com
Thank you for your time
Hunter
