“If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing time, this is it! We stayed for the Woodstock 50th anniversary weekend and we were very fortunate to be part of Jen’s Old Orchard in Pine Bush. U cannot find a better host that takes good care of her guests! Totally would recommend this place!”
“We were 2 friends traveling with our small children. We all loved the place. The property was beautiful and Jen was so kind and a terrific host. The animals were an extra added perk.”
“Jennifer was an amazing host! We had a great time camping. The best part was seeing her farm animals. Her dogs and farm animals were so friendly. We will definitely come again.”
“I'm joining the other high reviews here. I came here from NYC for one day/night to escape the city and have a little peaceful retreat in the country with my two best friends. The place was easy to find (though make sure you save directions before you get close because you may lose service at some point). We were greeted in her driveway first by her two gorgeous and loving dogs, then by Jen and her kids. They not only helped us get set up down the hill in the orchard grove, where the campsite is set up, they also gave us a grand tour of their little farmstead property. If you're coming from a city, meeting animals and being surrounded by fresh air and country sounds is the perfect therapeutic contrast. We pretty much just stayed right in the grove area listening to music, enjoying the beautiful day we had, and enjoying some fire-cooked food (we brought a cast-iron pan to cook in). I would highly recommend getting the optional wood and eggs, the wood was the perfect amount for a fire for dinner/nighttime and one for the morning, and the eggs were delicious and fresh from the farm hens. Our FAVORITE part though was Rocco, the big fluffy mountain dog. He came down with us and was the best dog-companion possible: when were were doing our own thing he just lay down on the grass by the tent platform, when we wanted to play and cuddle he was all game for it, and when we wanted to explore the property and the pond he led us the entire way. In short, it was a lovely experience. Peaceful and quiet, a beautiful space that feels like your own private bubble once you're down there, with a great host who is committed to helping you with whatever you need and also giving you total privacy too, and a sweet dog who totally charmed us.”
“Amazing trip! Jen is such a gracious host and her land is beautiful. This campsite is spacious and private, but not too far from a local restaurant and gas station for last minute extras. We loved having the hammock in the shade and extra comfy chairs for the campfire-- and of course, Rossco! (Jen's Collie who was our adopted dog for the day.) And I can not say enough about Jen's sweet hospitality. She not only had extra wood for us but offered an extra blanket, coffee in the morning and fresh eggs as we were leaving. Thanks, Jen!”
“We were 8 people group and our camping at the Old Orchard Camp was awesome and unforgettable experience. This was the third Tentrr experience of me and my husband and we guarantee that the camping site is beautiful/well prepared and perfect for large group. There are forest, small pond, large field with friendly farm animals. Rocco (one of the camp keeper's dogs) stayed around our tent all night and we felt he protects us.
Jennifer is the best camp keeper - she prepared so many stuffs (8 chairs, plates, etc.) for us and always support us if we need any help. Plus, the eggs from her farm were so fresh and tasty!!! Already miss this camping site. Can't wait for the next visit!”
