Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“Mark was so thoughtful and supportive! We loved being here. A few things we discovered / confirmed: This is IN THE WOODS, so if you're not driving a car you're comfortable driving over roots and rocks on a dirt path, definitely book the tractor ride and plan to have the food and battery charge that you'll need for the duration of your stay. There's a great tent and a bed and a metal fire pit, but we also found it useful to have our portable gas grill and sleeping bag. There's a chemical toilet and solar showers, so even though everything is set up and Mark is there for you, you're still definitely camping out in the woods. We DID have reception (for folks who are wondering / curious). The covered eating area was great, plus a hammock and a picnic table down by the water. Great first tentrr experience, and we would love to go back!”
“We had an absolutely amazing time, the property was everything we expected and the host made our time perfect. Make sure you have a vehicle with some sort of ground clearance as you do have to drive through a wooded trail to get to the site. There's a running spring just behind the site provides great noises throughout your time at the camp. Cooking on an open fire made the trip interesting but in a great way. Also, roughly 15 mins from Jim Thorpe and all the activities that are included with the area. I would 100% recommend this listing to anyone looking for peaceful, outdoors time with your family or significant other.”
“I was lucky and also honored to be the 1st camper at this site. It was a solo camping trip, and it exceeded my expectations. Mark and Yelena, we're great hosts! Mark showed me around the site and provided great information about his land and the surrounding areas. I spent my first few hours lying on the hammock and was lulled to sleep by the sound of the natural spring. After that, I took a nice little hike up the side of Bear Mountain and explored the area. It was so peaceful and tranquil. It was exactly what I was looking for on this trip. I would definitely camp here again, and I can't wait!”
