This was an amazing getaway! Location was remote (outside of the distant tennis court). Hadn't seen a single passerbyer. Area was clean. Was pleasantly surprised there was a hot tub! Yes... a hot tub... in the middle of the woods! It was an amazing glamping trip. Thank you for a great escape!

Jay’s campsite really is absolutely awesome! He has put a lot of thought and care into the specifics of the site, everything is very clean and organized, and the location is perfect. Trails right from the site to explore, but also 5 minutes away from a deli and takeout food. The campsite is stocked with all sorts of helpful things. The hot tub in the middle of the woods is a real treat. As a site keeper Jay was only a text away and made sure we had everything we needed. What a gem!

This was a very enjoyable campsite. We were a group of four, never been camping before - and ended up camping on one of the hottest weekends on record. Jay was sure to have fans on the site for us, and the trees shaded us from the heat. The fans also helped with the bugs, and we came out with only a few bites! Water is provided at the site, the sun shower was refreshing, and the fire pit was the perfect area for some camp games and catching up. Jay was reachable all weekend should we have needed anything. Thanks for a great trip!!

We had a wonderful stay at Stonecutters Ledge. Jay went above and beyond what we expected as a campsite host. The upgrades he has added to the site are great. My husband enjoyed a soak in the hot tub after a long bike ride around the reservoir. We saw the bathhouse under construction and think it will be a great addition. Jay also helped us choose a restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. I almost don't want to share how great this site is for fear we won't be able to book it again.

Jay goes the extra mile to make this campsite incredible. We used the rowboat and fishing gear to have a great time on the reservoir. There are solar power little lights to help you get to the car at night. There's electricity and water! Horseshoe pits, hammock, an inflatable mattress for the second tent. Plus the location is incredible!

Jay was an amazing "Campkeeper"/host! Unfortunately my girlfriend and I didn't get to meet him in person as he was out of town that weekend, but he was super friendly and responsive over message and phone call. He also left the campsite with absolutely everything we needed/wanted. He even setup the campfire wood so that practically all that was needed was a match and the perfect fire was lit. The site itself is perfectly located. You feel utterly secluded in the forrest, while only being 1 minute from the nearest road, a few minutes from a main drag, and 10 minutes to downtown Woodstock. Honestly, it could not have been better! Oh, and we experienced a cold snap (nearly freezing temps) and a rain storm while at Stonecutters Ledge, but it was not a problem at all. The wood burning stove in the tent keeps you nice and toasty. And the super comfy bed, sheets, and extra blankets Jay left were very much appreciated! There's also an electric light in the tent, 3 electric plugs in the tent, and a string of lights on the campground if you want the comforts of the city in the country. If not, you don't need to use them, but they are there. Also, when needed, we had perfect 4G LTE cell reception while on site. I *HIGHLY* recommend Jay and Stonecutters Ledge! Thanks so much!

Wow. This site is perfect for a weekend getaway (or even longer), it's private, quiet and Jay has done an amazing job stocking the site with nearly everything you could possibly need. The *massive* firepit complete with chairs to lounge in was invaluable, everyone had a spot to hang out and chat around the fire late into the night. The screened in table was a much appreciated addition as well, providing a bug free area to eat dinner and play cards. Jay has also provided a hammock, blocked off an area for "the loo", put a foam mattress in the main tent and has plenty of extra utensils, pots, pans, and many other supplies available, I definitely recommend stopping in before heading to the supermarket so you don't buy anything that's already provided by Jay at the site. The location itself, being so close to the Ashokan Reservoir for fishing and many Catskill hiking spots (we did Kaaterskill Falls ourselves) guaranteed that there's no shortage of activities to get into. All in all we will most definitely be coming back, Jay's hospitality is unmatched in our experience and won't be forgotten. A+ from our group!

Had a lovely time! Everything we needed was set up for us. Really appreciate the cooking tools, picnic table, linens & firewood! Coming from NY city this was a wonderful way to get out into the woods without having all the gear. Thanks again!
