“Our family visited Sunrise Hill with our dog and we had the best time! The view was incredible and as others have said, the pictures really don't do it justice. Kristin was friendly, helpful and accommodating and included many extras for us such as firewood and bedding that made our stay easier. We opted for the pool add-on and I highly recommend it--it was generously sized and so refreshing and we ended up spending most of our time there. We're looking forward to returning!”
“The CampKeeper Kristin was amazing, so helpful and very informative. The site was gorgeous, beautiful views and thankfully there were almost no mosquitoes/ annoying bugs hahaha. Stores were only a 10 minute drive and there was amazing fishing at Schoharie Creek. Fair warning the toilet is a true camping toilet, basically a bag in a bucket but made comfy, so keep that in mind, but was not an issue for my group.”
“We spent Labor day weekend at Sunrise Hill and had a great time. The camp is very clean and ready made--perfect for a family of four. The kids had lots of fun playing in the huge field. The swimming pool is a nice amenity! Kristin is a very gracious host. Shes very attentive and approachable. We definitely plan to return some day!”
“My 10 year old and I had THE most a-mazing experience. We loved the Tentrr camp, the location was just BEAUTIFUL, our host Kristen was the very best! And the use of the pool was a complete PLUS! We went to the nearby Secret Caverns which was super cool, and spent a morning at the Iroquois Native American Museum, and even went to a nearby CSA for some fresh veggies and herbs. It couldn't have been more perfect :)”
“My husband and I just got back from Sunrise Hill yesterday, and I can definitely say we will be back! The owner Kristin was so kind and helpful, and the pictures on the app only show a little of the actual beauty of the place. Our tent was clean and comfortable, and looks down into a gorgeous valley. Kristin also gave us free firewood which was much appreciated! I couldn’t recommend this site more highly - we needed some new memories and this was the place to make them. Also, definitely go for the extra $20 a day for pool access. It was totally private and we used it every day we were there!”

“This Tentrr site is spectacularly situated with a gorgeous view across the valley to the northern hills of the Catskills. I was there during peak fall color and the views couldn't be beat! I stayed on the property and had a relaxing weekend meditating, reading, and writing, but Kristin had many suggestions for local sites to visit. I can't wait to camp here again!
If you're camping in the chilly season, it got down to the low 30s overnight during my stay, be sure to bring a properly rated sleeping bag to supplement the linens provided. Or be prepared to wake and stoke the stove in the middle of the night, fully loaded it burns for about 4 hours.”
“Choose this site!! This site was beautifully maintained and the host was incredibly welcoming. The pictures don’t do the site justice, the view is stunning! Kristen included free firewood which was an amazing addition as well as a few other amenities at the site including a lighter, roasting sticks and a basket of small camping things we might have forgotten. We used the grill at the site to bbq over the fire and enjoyed quiet evenings on this secluded hill star gazing and listening to the sounds of the valley below. The bed was super comfy and included sheets and a warm blanket. Kristen made excellent recommendations including Carrot Barn and a beautiful creek to take our puppy swimming in. Very dog friendly site.”
