We are new to camping, so the idea of "glamping" highly appealed to us. We had a wonderful stay at the The Lost Boys Hideout. Easy to communicate with Steven, and he was so accommodating! He started the tents wood stove for us before we arrived, meaning our tent was toasty warm when we went in. He even gave us some homemade pumpkin bread (delicious!). The campsite was everything we were looking for, well stocked, annd Steven was happy to answer any questions we had. We loved our night in the woods, and hope we can go back sometime. Highly recommend!

My family and I had a great time at the Lost Boys Hideout. My little ones loved running around the campground and playing with sticks and things they found. The tent set up is great and the stove kept us warm throughout what turned out to be a very cold night. The host was very helpful and showed us hiking trails right on the property. Loved our time and would definitely come back.

Great location. Removed, yet can enjoy the lake and hiking trails. Nobody ever bothers you and you don’t see people unless you want to. Camp keeper great, quick to respond and help out in any way. This is a dense wooded lot, sun comes through beautifully but it does not “stay” sunny at the site. Not like being at the beach so sometimes can feel a little cooler. The beds are very comfortable and tent is cozy and unique! Amenities were great and you can request add ons to make your stay more comfortable and easy. When purchasing wood, keep in mind you’ll need more than you think, it burns quick. Other than that this was a great place to stay, loved it!

This camp couldn't have been more perfect! Steve was an exceptional host and super accommodating. We had an opportunity to rent kayaks and canoes from him and enjoyed the lake that was only 5 minutes down the road. Will absolutely come back here again!

This campsite and the campkeeper were both great! The site is beautiful and private and Steven was friendly and helpful throughout. He had a buch of suggestions of places to hike (we checked out the Nottingcook Forrest which was an easy hike with some great views),and places to get supplies (Blackbird deli had great food for camp fire cooking as well as cold beer). It was an awesome place to get out into nature, stay up late by the fire making smores under the stars, and recharge. Highly recommend.

Wow, can’t say enough great things about this site. Steven was wonderful, had tiki torches lit when we arrived and plenty of firewood, cookware, and even marshmallows and chocolate ready for s’mores. The property has tons of hiking trails and Steven can even take you on an off-roading excursion and tell you about the area. About 5 mins away there’s a big lake for swimming, boating, and canoeing that’s so serene and peaceful. Thanks so much for your hospitality Steven!
