“This was a birthday gift to my outdoor loving girlfriend. We took the pup with us and the owner was incredibly helpful. He told us about a near by hike with a breath taking veiw as well as listed places in the area to eat, coffee, etc. the campsite was packed with everything you need for the perfect outdoor experience! So no need to over pack! There is a small trek to the campsite so maybe pack light or be prepared to take a few trips from the car. But all and all it was wonderful and would go again! Thank you very much for having us I highly recommend this spot. Also hitting the town of Beacon if you want a trendy cute town near by to do things in. Great food. Thanks! :)”

“This was absolutely amazing!! The site was beautiful, clean, well maintained and full equipped. The property was peaceful and relaxing. The hosts, Evan and Laura, were so sweet, friendly and helpful. We loved visiting with the goats and relaxing by the fire. The tent did not get buggy at all, but we sprayed bug spray just in case! This was such a cool experience and I highly recommend this location! The perfect little getaway :)”
“We had a blast at higher ground - site is well exposed with both afternoon and morning sun while being shaded. Super well equiped and confortable. Hosts were really helpful too. Location is very close to Fahnestock park where we went hiking and swimming.”
