“I overall had a very nice stay at this place, however I had a few issues with hidden fees. The tent was immaculately clean and the setting was lovely, and there was a propane space heater in the tent that kept us cozy. The Mourelatos Lakeshore Resort is wonderful and the staff were very friendly and kind. I found the tent mattress to be very thin (it’s only about 3 inches thick on top of a hard plywood platform) so it wasn’t as comfortable as I had hoped, but my boyfriend was fine with it. The biggest issue for me was an undisclosed 12% tax fee, and the fact that the beach amenities - kayaks, paddle boards, etc. which are pictured in every photo on Tentrr’s listing - cost an additional $40 per day, which is NOT disclosed in the listing. Thankfully the resort staff allowed us to choose whether or not to pay this fee, and we opted to pay for just one day of beach access. It was totally worth it, we had tons of fun, I would just expect it to be explicitly mentioned in the listing.”
