“First, be sure you know what you’re getting into. Think of this as a bed and breakfast set-up, except in this case, you’re camping! Ray & Vicki have set up several sites on their property for this secluded camping/glamping experience. This is perfect during COVID reality, but we won’t hesitate to go back when everything goes back to normal!
You have the luxuries of a campground, but with a private toilet and camp shower!
There’s two factors that elevate this to a 5 star experience. First, the night sky. You’ll have a wide open view of the stars, all while sitting around a camp fire, (with a generous supply of firewood), and listening to coyotes in the distance throughout the night!
And secondly, the breakfast. Yes, it’s an add-on, but worth EVERY penny. If I had an opportunity to change one thing, it would have been to opt in for breakfast every morning we were there! Do. The. Breakfast. The preparation and presentation were top-notch, and you can tell there is a lot of thought and love put into the preparation!
Ray & Vicki were great hosts, and under normal circumstances, we would have loved to share some campfire time with them! All around a great camping experience!”
“A cozy corner of a beautiful open field, this location is perfect for a group of campers to enjoy Upstate NY. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time, providing a deck and lounge chairs, firewood, cooking supplies, a fully enclosed loo and shower, and even a kite! Our hosts were kind, responsive, and dedicated to providing us with a spectacular experience. We cannot recommend this site highly enough.”
