“We had a beautiful peaceful stay at this wonderful site. I enjoyed reading on the dock in the sun. The campsite and tent were in the shade under some lovely swaying trees. We took a sunset paddle around the lake and saw an owl fly overhead. Then we waited for the supermoon to come out and it was glorious. My husband caught several fish. Our dog was in heaven. We will be back!”
“We had a wonderful time at Scott's Lake! The campsite is so beautiful and peaceful. The dock was a great spot to sit and chill. We enjoyed swimming, fishing and having a fire every night. Our dog had so much fun swimming and exploring. Kristen is a fantastic host, and we plan on going back!”
“My two girlfriends and I had a wonderful trip to this heavenly spot. We swam at night under the light of the full moon, and the water was delightful. We enjoyed the privacy of the setting with no other campers around, and my dog had a blast enjoying his freedom and chasing sticks in the water. During the day we lounged on the new dock in the sun with our cocktails and trashy magazines. At sunset, we paddled around the perimeter of the lake and enjoyed the peaceful setting and crystal clear water. Then we built a fire in the fire pit and sat around catching up and roasting marshmallows. What a great way to recharge and spend time with old friends. Kirsten was a fabulous host and gave us all the guidance we needed while leaving us alone to enjoy our time. We will be back!”
“The site was beautiful and secluded, truly a special spot! Kirsten was very helpful, answered all of our questions, and gave great tips on cool places to visit. The lake is quiet and the other houses are on the other side, there were a few people in small canoes, kayaks, etc. but no large boats to contend with. We had a great time fishing and relaxing. It was a perfect spot for our dog who needs space from other dogs! The tent is set in the woods a bit do you have plenty of privacy, and there is a beautiful dock, picnic tables, and fire pit area right next to the water. Had all of the positives (comfortable tent with nice memory foam mattress) and drawbacks (tentrr loo) of any tentrr signature sight. The extras made our stay amazing, including the canoe, tubes, hammock, grill, and extra chairs around the fire area. As others have mentioned you definitely need a 4wd vehicle to get to the site but it is totally worth it. We picked up necessities at Stewart’s and visited the local creamery which was delicious. Cannot recommend this slice of paradise enough.”
“Great place to get away and enjoy nature! When she says you want a taller vehicle, she isn’t lying. The road to the site was very much like off-roading, but it was worth the drive! I love the seclusion of the site, and I had enough service to make phone calls from the shore of the lake. We will definitely be visiting again.”
“A little slice of heaven! On the lake, canopy of trees, beautiful (but rough) trek into site, made for an incredibly fun stay. Great walks and fun fishing without having to leave except for more ice and water! Had we brought a hatchet we wouldn’t have needed fire wood either. Stewart’s a few miles away, helped us restock with worms, ice, and some fun desserts! Our host was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful prior to arrival. Definitely coming back!”
“This is a fantastic spot. The lake is small and very pretty. The water is beautiful and clear and was a perfect temperature. This would be a good place for competitive swimmers who want to train, as there are few boats and I was able to swim across and back. We enjoyed taking the wooden canoe out and paddling the perimeter of the lake. We saw some cool wildlife, like a woodpecker, owl and a heron. My husband caught a large mouth bass from the canoe as well as a small mouth bass and a very large crappie from the dock. I enjoyed relaxing in the hammock while my kids played in the water on the inner tubes. At night, we listened to the frogs, made a large fire in the fire pit, roasted some marshmallows and played cards by lantern light. We even took a late night dip as it got dark. Swimming while looking up at the moon and stars was magnificent. Our dog loved it here -- he was in heaven. I appreciated that the camp owner was very responsive and helpful. We will be sure to visit again next year!”
