We had a great stay! The site is not inside the regular camping area which offered a lot of privacy. Like any camping experience there were bugs/spiders and the outhouse was a short walk away but I always expect those things while camping. The site was super close to the water and the swimming was great! The state park also offers 10 miles of trails to walk on, 12 cool picnic tables to go find, and has caneo/kayak rentals. Would recommend.

Definitely a nice spot! Check-in was easy, I was guided to the site where I was able to settle in pretty quickly. The site is fairly secluded with the exception of some folks walking along the adjacent road, the park beach being within earshot and access to the pet swimming area being nearby. There was no cell service at the site but there was at the beach. The tent and site was clean. There is a queen bunk bed. The table set up was great and has a small cupboard. The restrooms are a 3-5min walk from the tent. This was the first time I had been camping in a long time and the first time for my dog. Having the tent and seating already there and set up made it super easy and allowed my dog and I to relax without worrying about lots of people and pets coming and going. A great spot and host!

Peakes Kenney is beautiful, the park rangers and staff are super nice. However, I wish I would’ve stayed in one of their regular sites not this “glamping” experience. The tent was tucked away, VERY far from the bathroom or other people. It was FULL of dead wasps and dozens of very alive spiders and there was no broom or anything to clean it with. When they say “stove” they mean a WOOD STOVE inside a CANVAS TENT. And the “BBQ GRILL” is literally just a grate to put over the fire. Don’t waste your money on tentrr here, get a regular camping site as they’re more convenient and much prettier. The patch of woods we were in was totally overgrown and we didn’t get any sun at all.

Lovely site in a beautiful state park. The listing wasn’t super clear about the layout of the campground so it was a bit of a hike to use the restrooms in the middle of the night. Otherwise a great stay

Was really beautiful but the address took us to the opposite side of the lake, we had to call the park to get directions as well

The spot was very secluded and quiet - just what we were hoping for. The supplies were clean and as expected and perfect for our road trip camping stop!

The staff at Peaks Kenny state park were wonderful, however if you need to contact them, be sure to call. No one ever returned any of my emails. That being said, when we called they were very accommodating. The air mattress in the tent was a bit deflated when we arrived and neither of the pumps they included worked, so our first night was a little rough (we didn't notice till after they were gone for the day). They replaced the pumps the next morning as soon as we brought it to their attention. The only only thing I'd add is that it is about a quarter of a mile walk to the nearest bathroom. This is not a problem in the day but can be a little daunting at night. The bathrooms are very nice and have unlimited hot water showers. Lastly, the GPS coordinates do not bring you to the actual campsite. You'll have to drive down the dirt road past the regular campsites. The road has ton of potholes, so go slow!

The campground was beautiful and well maintained. The staff very nice and helpful. I would give that part a 5. I wasnt impressed with the tentrr location and amenities for the price. I would have preferred to pay less than half and be closer to the beach and restrooms since there wasnt the tentrr toilet or shower set up. Also our site was off the campsite loop but right off the road and visible to anyone walking or driving by. This is my 2nd tentrr stay and I love the concept andy first experience. I was not put off after this visit, I actually booked another trip but have learned to stay in a private vs state park
