Absolutely gorgeous location. Owner was very friendly. We saw deer at dusk near the tent. Perfect getaway!

This is a wonderful campsite! It has a huge open field that wraps behind the trees for great privacy. The tentrr tent and porta potty were very clean. There is nice hiking and exploring right on the property. It is a great site to camp with dogs. I would definitely go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Uncle Willie's. It was both private enough and near enough to everything to make us comfortable. The property is beautiful and hiking was abundant. Hans had everything we need and was responsive with any questions we had. We came with both a dog and a toddler, and they both wore themselves out over the course of our stay. Overall, it was a great experience!

This a very nice site, with reasonable privacy. Campkeeper was nice and helpful. Can’t imagine a much more strategically placed camp getaway, so close to everything in the Delaware Water Gap.

Beautiful property, tent was so spacious and clean. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Lots to do nearby: rafting, axe throwing, ATV riding, and Columcile Megalith park are all nearby.

Place was nice, Hans was nice, but the stove was not working right. The smoke came out the front, not up the chimney. The smokey fire was not hot, just lots of smoke. To let out the smoke, we had to open the front flaps and all the window flaps. Not much heat + open everything = a chilly night. Not fun. Cold, smoke filled. Would not recommend.

Campkeeper “5 Star”: Met us and made sure we had everything we needed. Very friendly and welcoming. Area Location “5 Star": Situated perfectly with everything nearby: hiking, swimming, boating and many places of interest Privacy & tent location “4 Star” — What makes this a “3 Star” overall: – Tentrr tent needs to be sealed at the corners. Stayed in several so far, & this is the 1st one that was not really ‘sealed’ & had golf-ball sized openings at the base of each corner of the tent (had to put gear in each corner to ‘close’ the gaps). – Camp toilet… needs a mini tent outside of the tent… no one wants to camp with a bucket of (#!@$) in the tent. We just placed it outside, behind the tent (no privacy issues, really), but if it had been raining, without a mini tent to cover it… – Fire Ring / Camp fire need to be moved 50% closer to the tent. Right now it’s on an angle / slope & just too far away to make any sense (many trips back and forth from tent when cooking, etc.). That distance makes the (available) prep & eating table unusable, as it’s next to the tent, 100+ feet away from the fire / cooking & warmth. (There’s a fairly flat location midpoint between the tent & current fire location that would be perfect & solve this issue) – ALSO: 1st time using the inside tent camp stove. Worked perfectly the 1st night, but the 2nd night smoke would not exit the top as intended, no matter what I tried, and filled the tent with smoke (unusable). So, final night was a little cold! >> Recap: to get a “5 Star’ rating, just add a mini tent for the camp toilet, seal the Tentrr tent at the bottom corners & move the fire ring 50% closer to the tent. Will rebook & stay at Uncle Willie’s, as it’s a great location for activities.
