“We felt extremely disappointed in our experience with this particular site. The location to the lakes region is wonderful. The hosts are very unwelcoming, starting with aggressive welcome materials that explicitly request in all caps that you do not bother anyone on their property. At one point our family was very concerned with a stray car sitting in one of their fields with the lights on for nearly 30 minutes late at night. We texted the hosts with no response that evening nor the next day. It’s very obvious that they do not care to have people on their property but enjoy this income stream. The campsite was muddy and does not look like the photos.”

Since your review, we've gotten in touch with the host at this particular site and addressed some of your concerns. He is aware of them and will be more mindful of the items you mentioned moving forward with future bookings.

“We had such a great time here! I was a little nervous about the recent reviews, but found the site to be clean with great amenities and quick access to the lakes. The farm animals were a cute perk and the site manager was responsive to our questions and needs. There were some bugs, but this is a glamping situation so I don’t know what people expected.”
“We did not have a good experience in this ace. We missed the email for filling check-in forms because the email was sent in the same day and I was driving. The host let us in and allowed us to take the car to the tent to unload the car. After ~15 min she showed up very angry about not filling the forms and not driving the car back to parking (it was only 15 min).
The tent was not set up correctly. It was full of bugs and we found a huge trantula on the bed after a few hours we got there. Also at around 4 am when we were sleep, we had a guest in the tent, a cat!!! The corners of the tent were wide open and any animal could get in . I texted the host about it but she never responded!
The kids enjoyed feeding the animals.”
“Great time and an amazing tent interior, it truly felt like a hotel room! Not secluded, but the short hike to the beaver dam is worth the trip alone.”
