“Excellent location wonderful host and everything we needed. 4 out of 5 cause Tentrr needs to replace the tent. The host is excellent and the tent has been well loved. Already missing the sounds of the farm animals and wildlife! Thank you for the perfect R&R!!”
“Kathy was wonderfully accommodating to us. We booked a last minute trip to spend some time in nature. It was exactly what we needed. My daughter loved seeing all the animals and collecting the eggs. Kathy gave us a little tour of the property on her 4 wheeler that night, which was a great bonus. We bought all our food in the farmstand and had fun cooking a farm to table dinner and breakfast together. We slept great listening to the sheep baah us to sleep and the barred owl calls.”
“Great place. Magical setting. Warm and friendly. Kathy is an amazing person who helped us at every turn. Bring some cutlery and be more prepared than us to cook on the open fire and eat farm to table eggs and veggies!!! I highly encourage you to do this w kids and look for the tree house and listen for the owls and crickets! Great swimming in lakes nearby and pick your own berries and apples etc.”
“I think this will be our last Tentrr trip, but it is not the fault of Kathy or has anything to do with her Hill Top Camp property. The reason is due to our booking process and that Tentrr gift cards expire 365 days after purchase. I have an opinion about this sort of thing, but there is no question gift card expiration policy should be mentioned. That is my problem, gift cards expiring is not communicated anywhere in tentrr terms of service or gift card policies/checkout process. That makes it a scam in my book, but they refused to even acknowledge it until I escalated it to become a legal matter.
One year, I asked for nothing but Tentrr gift cards for a holiday from my family, but when it came time to redeem them Tentrr only allowed me to use one per trip. This wasn't a big deal because we were frequent customers. COVID hit and we didn't do much camping in 2020. 2021 came and here we are, ready to get back to traveling. That is until trying to use the third gift card and noticing it had expired. Tentrr insisted that I should have used them within 365 days and I am out the $100. This was their stance until about the 5th email with support rep, Esteban, when I cited New Hampshire law which prohibits gift cards expiring. It absolutely shouldn't have came to that, and without the law any small claims court would have ruled in my favor. It is for this reason this trip will always leave a bad taste in my mouth. I will even photoshop the tentrr logo out of our scrapbook photos just to prove I can be as petty as Esteban's treatment of me was, even until the end when they eventually gave in and let me spend the $100 my family gave them to gift to me.
Kathy was a great host and her land is phenomenal. Her animals have a happy home. It was exactly to getaway we were looking for. I hope she will offer her great service on other venues in the future.”
