“I wasn't sure what to expect about staying in a tent like this, but it was a very nice tent. MUCH nicer than staying in my own tent. The location is great. The hosts were very accessible and very friendly. We didn't have kids, but it was a kid friendly place. We had two small dogs and they had fun too!”
“Bill was such a great host during our weekend camping trip. We rented a yurt at the loon camping site and had a lot of fun hiking, canoeing, swimming, and adventuring. We rented a boat for $75 for a full day and Bill took the time to teach us how to start, drive, and dock the boat since it was our first time. We had a lot of fun and definitely recommend venturing out to this location to see for yourself. Loved the time I spent here!”
“TL;DR Evergreen Bay and Tentrr are a dream. Accessible, relaxing, accommodating. I cannot praise them enough.
First of all, I should state that I am disabled and walk with the aid of a cane. Secondly, my two teenage sons are both on the autism spectrum.
I say this to highlight how accommodating and amazing our Tentrr experience at Evergreen Bay Resort was.
We arrived on a rainy Friday. We were immediately shown to our camp site and provided with dry firewood and firestarter. Our sons were welcomed by the owner and made comfortable in the Lodge's game room. As the storm cleared, we were able to set up camp and get ourselves settled in. One of my sons slipped in the mud but the camp shower and privacy pop up made it easy for him to get cleaned up.
The woods were lovely and private. We could hear loons and frogs on the lake and once the clouds were gone, we saw shooting stars and the Milky Way. The next day, we were able to get on the lake. We took advantage of the paddle boat and floaties and we also rented a row boat! We saw fish but did not catch any. The water was cold but easy to get used to. It was a clean and beautiful lake! The Evergreen Bay team was busy hustling to prepare for new guests but they were still helpful and kind and accommodated literally every need we had. From duct tape for broken glasses to ice pops after we were done in the sun for the day. We were checked on numerous times by many team members and it was absolutely wonderful. We had one more restful night and then we left the next morning. Again, the Williams family and their team could not have been kinder or more helpful. It was as easy to breakdown and clean camp as it was to set up. Absolutely world class. We can't wait to go back!”
