“We loved our stay! We had a relaxing Labor day weekend at Halfmoon Hallow and we hung out as a family enjoying each others company. The camp site itself is incredible! There is a little stream our pup liked to splash in and just the beauty of creation everywhere. Our hosts told us about some local things to do and we spent the day climbing and exploring at Bilgers Rocks, and then took a dip in cerwinsville lake. Monday we also ventured over to cooks forrest to go tubing as our summers last blast!
Our hosts communicated super well and asked if we had camped before to assess our comfort levels with camping. It was so kind of them to make sure we would be okay and that we knew what we were getting into.
Over all our trip was incredible. I hope this concept continues to catch on especially in Western Pa closer to us because this was so much fun!

“Beautiful spot, such a nice area with lots of stuff to do within short drive distance. The host was great, she made us delicious dinner on the fire, breakfast was really good too. The tent was equipt with little lamps. Towels, sheets, and blankets were provided. We will definitely consider coming back.”
“We had a lovely time at Halfmoon Hollow -- our host was so gracious and friendly, and provided us with far more than we had expected - including salt and pepper, some tin foil and other grill essentials. The clearing is peaceful and quiet. Despite being just five minutes from town we felt like we were the middle of nowhere -- in the best possible way.”
“We had such a wonderful stay! We came for two nights with the intention of enjoying the autumn leaves. The leaves looked amazing at the site — it truly is surrounded by nature. We definitely recommend doing the forest bathing activity as well. Elle is such a kind soul and brought a calming presence to us; we’re so grateful! Dinner and breakfast were also delicious. A somewhat spur-of-the-moment decision to do a weekend trip turned about to be a truly special experience & we’re very thankful.”
