“Great site! We all had a very comfortable experience there and had everything we needed!! The heaters for the tents were the best since it was unexpectedly colder the second night but we were more than comfortable! Beautiful area, close enough to things but far enough away where you feel away from it. Definitely would recommend!!!”
“Perfect place for a large group! Lots of amenities, my guests were especially happy to have the pop up pods for the camp toilets, and so nice to have the trash removal as an option. Loads to do in the area, Peter was an amazing host!!!”
“We had a great time at the site. Peter was an excellent host and responded right away with any questions we had. The site had perfect amount of firewood for us for the two days. There is also a grill top for cooking hot dogs or burgers over the fire. I stayed alone with my three kids and felt completely safe.
Things we did in the area was going to Kelder's Farm, Vernooy Kill Falls hike, Rough Cut Brewery and the diner. My kids loved it and had such a great time.”
“We stayed at Tabasco Woods 2 and loved the location - close to lots of great hiking and biking. Host sent lots of great ideas and was super responsive.”
“Having two tents together was perfect. Each couple had privacy but coming from the city we liked being close to each other. And wow is it dark at night! Bring flashlights.
Location stayed cool on an otherwise really warm day.”
“Had a great time at this camping site. The host was friendly and helpful and totally accessible, and the space is great, a private oasis in the woods, but close enough to hiking in the Gunks and swimming at Lake Minnewaska. I highly recommend! Also, pay the fee to have them take the garbage. It's totally worth not schlepping trash yourself.”
“Came with a group of us and we all just loved this location. Deep in the country but lots to do in every direction. We hiked Vernoy Kills (super close) and went over to the reservoir to bike on the new rail trail. Site is clean and well maintained. Follow Peter's directions to the water pipe when you need to refill. Crystal clear and delicious. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.”
