“Great state park and the tent itself was nice. Mattress was comfortable. A great site at the end with privacy. However, when we arrived the trash was full and the cooler of water was empty. Not sure who takes care of these things but appears site wasn’t checked between guests. Are they supposed to be? We bagged up our own trash and packed it out but were concerned it may appear that it was our trash that was left. I would probably stay at a Tentrr again, but would try to call ahead to make sure it is prepared.”
“Overall - better than expected. When we made the TentRR reservation, we didn't really know what to expect. The ranger at the visitor center had very little info to share over the phone. They said they contract out the TentRR sites to a contractor and didn't have any responsibility for the site. To our surprise, this site was great. Site I is the last on a row of TentRR site and has some privacy some of the other sites lacked. Much more space and privacy than regular park campground sites. The direction of the tent was perfect. Faces away from other sites and had great sunrise and sunset light and views from deck chairs. A large pine tree provided nice late morning to mid afternoon shade. Tent was sturdy, very tall and comfortable. Nice carpeted floor. We didn't use the heater, but found the portable toilet convenient and easy to set-up and use. Small wood table with moveable wood benches. Nice raised cooking platform is high enough you can cook and prep without leaning over. Camp host showed up in the morning and emptied the trash can, restocked supplies, and replaced water cooler. Would stay here again. Camp site J also a choice spot with more privacy.”
“Kodachrome Basin State Park is a hidden gem! Site I was the best. This tent rental was perfect for our night between days at Bryce Canyon - it was about a 35min drive from the park with small town Tropic on the way for food/drinks/etc. The tent was super comfortable compared to a typical pop-up (even had carpeted floor) and the views at sunset around the park were incredible. The water jug, bottle opener on the picnic table, and grill cover for the fire pit all came in very handy. The gate/guard at the front of the park and the RV campsite down the way made us feel safe while still being back off the road enough to feel remote and alone.”
