Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“Deb and Chris were very easy to communicate with and responsive, and set up a truly wonderful and well equipped campsite! This was a great home base for hiking in the White Mountains and relaxing in the woods.”
“This was my first time using Tentrr - I hope it isn't my last! I had a wonderful stay with Deb & Chris. They were so nice and worked with me on my arrival time (I was traveling from out of state). Deb even brought me some herbs from her garden to cook with!”
“Pondwood Pines made for an amazing first Tentrr experience! The site is beautiful and secluded in the woods, and Deb and Chris went above and beyond. The citronella lanterns were a lifesaver, and Deb graciously shared a bouquet of fresh herbs from her garden.
We enjoyed nearby Tamworth - the Lyceum, distillery, and farmers market on Saturday (where we purchased local steak, potatoes, and veggies for a delicious campfire dinner) were lovely! We drove along the Kancamagus Highway, hiked Mt. Chocorua, and cooled off in the Swift River.
Absolutely recommend and plan to return soon!

“Lovely space. Very secluded! The tent itself is lovely and clean and spacious. The hammock is so comfy and relaxing. Beautiful place to escape to! The pond is really serene. Awesome, friendly hosts! Lots of bugs, though- be prepared haha.”
“If you love seclusion in nature and camping but don't want to spend your precious time packing, setting up, and tearing down; look no further, you have arrived! Deb & Chris thought of everything so you don't need to sweat the small stuff. The property was beautiful, quiet, & easy to access; lots of hiking options, loved the hammock. Will definitely return!”
“We loved staying at Chris & Deb's camp in the woods. The campsite was perfectly set up for us upon arrival, with more than enough gear for the weekend (we got the kitchen & bedding add-on). We loved cooking dinner over the campfire, all the hiking trails nearby (thanks for the maps in the tent!), and being in the peace and quiet reading our books on the Adirondack chairs. Deb swung by with extra citronella candles for us during the weekend as the mosquitoes were out. An amazing experience overall, would happily stay again.”
“We loved our stay at Pondwood Pines. It is very quite and beautiful out there although Deb and Chris are just five minutes walk away. The communication before, after and during arrival was top notch. We had everything set up on arrival for stay. The solar lamps and the oil lanterns were a beautiful touch and looked very pretty in the dark. I had taken the kitchen and bedding add-on which made the cold fall night very comfortable. My kids had a blast exploring the area and they now want a place just like this :)
I highly recommend Deb and Chris' site and we'll be back again!”
“What an amazing experience! Like Thoreau, “I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived."
I planned this trip to focus on silence and my writing. What I learned is how addicted to modern technology I've become...how accustomed to light pollution and how foreign to being alone I am. However, staying at Pondwood Pines helped to alleviate so much of the mental clutter. Everything was perfect and the only thing I would've changed was to have more time. Two nights was not enough!
I brought a lot of camping gear with me and, it turns out, Deb and Chris provided everything I could have needed - firewood and kindling, cooking supplies (I purchased the cooking and bedding add-on), solar lights along the pathways, and plenty of "extra touches." The area is remote enough to feel like you're in the backcountry, but close enough to be a short trip from "civilization."
I highly recommend this site and hope to be back soon!”
