Hard to locate from the road, worth it to experienced campers. Host was helpful. Large hill to pack in and out of ( host provided a cart for use). Couldn’t get down with the car. Must be athletic. Very bare bones as far as convenience, but worth the private and wild life experience. Saw deer, buck, and woodpeckers. Bring at least 3 gallon of water per day for dishes/drinking. Not for the faint of heart.

This place is absolutely stunning. Stayed three nights and we didn’t want to leave. The view is unbelievable and the location just gives that ‘getting away from it all’ feeling. The finishing touches are delightful and make it such a pleasure to stay there. Isaac was perfect on the communication front and has the place well appointed. Plenty to do around and about. Drive on the slow road to Mendocino is gorgeous. And Ukiah surprised us with hidden gems - coffee, pastries and Japanese food all top notch. Def on our must-return list.

I had an amazing getaway at Epic Orr Springs last weekend. It's in a beautiful location that feels super isolated - except Ukiah is just a short drive down the mountain. Isaac is an awesome host and did a great job communicating check-in instructions. I will say there were more amenities at the site than I anticipated, which was great because I forgot some things at home. The glassware and wine opener was a nice touch, and having things like paper towels and trash bags for example was also very helpful. This campsite is a great homebase for exploring the mountains and redwood forests of Mendocino, and the coast is about an hour's drive away (be prepared for a lot of twists and turns though!). Definitely a 10/10, hoping to be back again sometime.

Incredible stay! Quick drive from ukiah and about an hour from Anderson valley. Amazing surroundings with unlimited peace and fresh air. Also, it’s way more stocked than you would know by the listing- cooking supplies, shower, paper products, and linens. Ask the tentrr host for specifics.

It was really lovely. Beautiful land! We saw deer and watched the sun rise over the rolling hills. And it was only a short drive away from Orr hot springs. The host was really helpful and answered all of our questions

Remote, but not very far from people, this campsite sits on a beautiful property. Big rolling hills make for a heck of a hike, so prepare your knees if you venture out past the camp. We were just barely able to have a fire, it rained so everything was safe. Make sure you ask about fire permits. The canvas tent doesn’t keep much heat in but we were plenty well dressed and there were enough blankets. On moist nights the fog is at your door, but it’s fun to watch it clear. Not for the faint of heart in the winter. Bring propane for the heater buddy and jet boil fuel, wood if you want a fire. Montgomery Woods State park is just down the road and so worth the visit. Bring your coolers, lots of water if you want to wash! If there’s been rain, an AWD is helpful.

The view was incredible. You can literally see every star in the sky, which is so refreshing when you live in a city like me. I loved how remote it was but still close to town and you get greeted by deer in the morning. It's just up the road from Mobthomery Woods Reserve which was so lovely and barely populated (which is my favorite kind of hike) and also the Orr Hotsprings are a hop, skip and a jump away. However, I would not recommend if any of the following reasons apply to you. If you get carsick... this is NOT the road for you to stay on. There wasn't any real way to cook so I ate out for every meal. The driveway is pretty steep and a longer walk to the cabin than I thought it would be so I wouldn't recommend it if you have mobility issues. And best if you have an all wheel vehicle because I spun out on the gravel quite a bit and was fearful at one point that I would need to get towed out. So this is a mixed bag review but in general I enjoyed myself and found it relaxing.
