“This campsite is way underrated. They had much more then advertised. We came here as a last minute getaway and it was perfect ! The grounds are beautiful and the site is very secluded. The tent was very clean and homey. They provide a nice big cooler which was a nice surprise since they tell you to bring your own in the ad. We went to the local store and got ice, food and beer for the cooler. The tent has a wood stove to keep you warm at night. They provided a big down blanket, a large grate for cooking , t pot for boiling water, cooking utensils for the fire pit. They also tell you to bring wood in the ad but they provided an abundance of wood as well as us being able to take from the woods ourselves. Everything was perfect, communication was great. Our only real complaint was the chairs by the fire pit. They are fine at first but sitting in the wood chairs all weekend started to hurt our bodies. Suggest bringing your own bush chairs or foldable chairs. We would definitely come back to this tentrr campsite !! Thank you !!”
“The ride through the Catskills is beautiful and makes the site worth it, in and of itself! However, when we arrived at Bunkhouse, everything was perfect. Julie's directions and instructions were thorough and she was quick to respond to our messages. The site was outfitted with flowers, everything we needed from extra paper towels to fire-starters, and a handwritten note about camp reminders and local interests. It was very hot during our July stay but we were supplied with plenty of water and the hammock in the shade was great. Getting down to the creek was very muddy so we only went once. If you're willing to put up with a little extra dirt, the creek is a great shaded spot to cool off or read.”
