“This is was such an amazing and exciting place to come spend the holiday weekend. Not only is this site to die for but it’s on one of the most plentiful and beautiful creeks that is bigger than some rivers and plentiful with catch and release trout! Wes is an amazing host and I’d recommend this site to anyone that is up for a hike and an experience unlike any other camping experience! We loved it and would recommend it to anyone who doesn’t need the bougey lifestyle and is ready to rough it! Five stars all the way!”
“Expect a steep walk down and up so pack light. The shower is a bag that you have to fill with water. But the scenery is beautiful. You could tube the river too if you wanted.”

Be prepared for quite a trek to/from the camp site. It’s not too long, but it is very steep.

The site itself is gorgeous - perfectly situated on the bank of the river bend in the woods. The property is big enough to walk the woods or the short trail beside the river that leads to scenic shoals.
The set-up of the Tentrr was really cool (if you're used to regular camping, this is definitely treating yourself).
Inside the tent: The canvas tent is really well sealed. We had a lot of rain, and it wasn't even a problem. The bed was nice and comfy (it has blankets and pillows, we brought our own sheets). The heater inside is super strong and heats the whole place quickly. The nightstands are a nice touch.
Outside: The firepit comes with a cooking grill, so if you're cooking over the fire, all you need is your ingredients and a pan or foil. The deck and chairs are comfortable, and a beautiful place to post up. We didn't use the shower, but it was nice to have for hand-washing. Wes also brought a huge cooler full of drinking water- huge plus to not worry about that. The toilet situation isn't weird at all, and is definitely an upgrade from typical camping. Wes added in a pop-up tent around it for privacy.
Wes went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He truly was the best host. We will absolutely be back!”
