This set back campsite was amazing! Beautiful area and lots of trials to hike around there. Steven our host was more then accommodating. He was very nice and a great guy! He really made the experience excellent! i recommend people who want to camp in the woods to really try this place out! The only thing i suggest is to bring a suv or truck because the road is all dirt with some bumps and if it rains, gets real muddy to where a car wont make it.

Steve was a great host and this location is amazing. I was visited by 2 barred owls - a very special experience! The site was exactly as described, very peaceful and remote, with quick access to the delightful town of Cornish. Thank you Steve! I’d love to come back sometime.

Our weather conditions for the trip could not have been less ideal, and yet they had no impact on our experience at the Knoll property whatsoever. After a grueling 7 hours of traffic due to the holiday weekend, Steve was ready to greet us 2 hours later than our expected arrival time with a smile. He also helped us find his home over the phone and was available by text throughout the trip. He then let us follow him on the dirt road to the actual tentrr campsite in this middle of his 120+ acre property. You will not find more peace and quiet than right here! Steve was very courteous to show us around the site and inform us of all the supplies already available to us even in the dark. He also helped familiarize us with the tentrr bathroom situation (not so bad!) Plus he gave us a ton of recommendations in terms of local restaurants and shops, even though our focus was Portland, Maine, this was very sweet and helpful. We were able to have a fire the first night as he left us some firewood and already had a 5 gallon jug of water ready for us. Thankfully we also had nothing to worry about in terms of set up in the rain, which was greatly appreciated. The second night it rained a little harder, but we were able to cuddle up in the bed with the wood burning stove to keep us nice and warm. Our pup also had a great time exploring the property and it was such a luxury to be able to travel with her. Also, on our way out Steve was sure to share some freshly baked blueberry cornbread with us right out of the oven. We couldn’t be more impressed with our first tentrr experience and host. Highly recommend !
