“This spot was magical! We loved all the different spots on the site - the campfire “lounge” area with natural benches & chairs, the hammock by the river & small fire pit, swimming hole with pebble “beach” (tho WAY to cold for any swimming when we were there!), a leat-to, an A-frame structure & rope platform. We spent most of our time by the river, fire side & in the hammock. The camper loo took some getting used to, but we relaxed into the situation pretty quickly. Getting the camper loo tent folded back up into its bag was quite a puzzle! Finally figured it out tho.
There was a little traffic noise at times but overall pretty quiet.
Parking was conveniently close to the campsite.
Angela was attentive & responsive when needed.
This place is quite a special find!”
“This is a great site! Very convenient drive up to the trail that leads to a 50ft trail to the site. It was great to be along the river, there is actually a cool swimming hole just up a trail from the main site. The site is very private as well and we were the only campers on the property we plan to book again soon!”
“What a gem this site was! We found exactly what we were looking for here— seclusion away from people, water to swim in, fields to see stars at night, a dense canopy of trees to sleep under. The structures Angela built were great, we especially loved the suspended rope platform to lay on and relax. I would definitely go back here in a heartbeat!”
“This site was great! The river right next to the site was key and kids had so much fun getting in and out of the water. It was shallow enough that my 3 year old could wade safely but had spots deep enough that my 7 year old could swim. You can't beat falling asleep to the gurgling of the river. The site is secluded and private and easily fits four tents and multiple families. It comes with torches spread out which made the night time very cozy. We would definitely go back here.”
“We had a great time at this camp site.
The site had a bunch of small structures built out of the natural elements, perfect for rain shelter and relaxing. Each structure had a creative touch and used nothing more than found wood and rope (or vines) to build. We especially loved the fire-pit and hammock area but all of the amenities were great. There is a compost toilet which was also great to have around. The property was extremely clean, well kept and inspiring. The site was also perfectly secluded. We will definitely be back!”
