First time booking Tentrr as a getaway from the city, and I would book again! The host Peter was super communicative and even drove our bags to and from the tent as it’s a bit of a hike. It was a peaceful and private location, and so close to Jiminy Peak and Mount Greylock for fall foliage viewing!

Beautiful and secluded getaway. There were all the amenities we could have needed, pillows and blankets, camp stove, cooking utensils, camp toilet with toilet paper, etc. It's a very private site which was great, we couldnt see any houses or streets from the tent. The trails up to the tent are clearly marked, even at night. It was quite a hike up to the tent but the host brought our luggage up for us on his little atv so that made up for it. Overall an amazing place to stay, near many cute towns with lots to do within a short drive.

My fiance and I had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend in the Berkshires with Hancock Haven as our home base! The site has everything you need for a great trip, and Pete was incredibly helpful and welcoming. As other reviews have mentioned, the site is about a 10-15 minute hike uphill from the parking area - I recommend taking Pete up on his offer to take your gear up on his ATV if you can. We were able to get everything back to our car on our own, but getting it to the site without his help would have been quite tough. Highly recommend this site for Western Mass / Berkshires adventures!

This site has a nice combination of features: it is very easy to get to, and yet it feels private and embedded in the woods. It was perfect for a two-night stay while we visited MassMoCA and it gave us an easy base where we could feel connected to nature but without needing the extra time and effort that “real camping” would have entailed. The site is very well kept and comfortable. We loved our time there.

Perfect site, amenities, and location. Pete was so kind and hospitable, greeted us personally, offered to drive us up to the site via ATV, and even offered fresh eggs and maple syrup. The site itself is exactly as described and depicted in the photos. The attention to detail re: the in-tent lighting, full set of cooking gear, a ton of firewood, outdoor shower, hammock, and access to water/hose felt honestly deluxe. We look forward to visiting again soon; highly recommended.

This place is secluded and majestic. Imagine waking up in a comfy bed and looking out the window to see the morning sun shining through the forest…absolute magic! Pete was an impeccable host as well. They provided many more amenities than other sites I looked at. The bedding and pillows are clean and good quality. The description is honest with the a hike uphill to reach the campsite. However, Pete helped us up with all of our stuff on his ATV, so it wasn’t an issue. We relaxed and got to connect as a family over s’mores and UNO. Vacation for the books! Thanks Pete! We can’t wait to return!

Loved this site! It could not be more secluded and surrounded by beautiful nature. The site is impeccably maintained and outfitted—including a very comfortable mattress, fire wood, water cooler, etc. The site caretaker was extremely responsive and helpful. You should note that the site is a good walk from the parking area up a steep grade at points. So pack compactly in easy to carry bags.
