We had the most wonderful weekend camping at the Wander site! The tent was in great condition, very spacious with a comfy bed... and we loved having the heater for when it got a little chilly from a rain storm. Lanterns, a bunch of cooking supplies, a campfire cooking grate, camping chairs, hammock, drinking water, games, first aid kit, and firewood were all provided (there was more too, I'm just blanking) - We came loaded with supplies but didn't end up need most of what we brought. The campsite, outhouse, tent and shower were in perfect condition. Although the grounds are on a cow farm, the camp site was nestled in the woods next to a stream far away from any manure smells, or signs of other people. Plenty of grounds to walk around, with a little path to take around some of the property. The hosts clearly put a lot of time and effort into making sure their guests have a stellar experience, and we so appreciated that level of thoughtfulness. Love supporting a small business, especially when it's an ethical farm. We will definitely be back and share our experience with friends and family!

Six stars out of five! Exactly as advertised and even more comfortable. Real bed with memory foam mattress, plenty of space inside for us and the dog's bed. Heater if you need. Cold drinking water provided and full camp kitchen, fire pit with wood and cooking grate. Lovely outdoor shower and the best jon-house you will ever use! Stream babbled, frogs croaked and the stars came out. Plenty of walking trails, or hammock and Adirondacks to relax. Very gracious hosts--we'll return!

Amazing hospitality! The most comfortable campsite we've experienced. Exceeded expectations in all categories. Communication with hosts was great. We arrived late and Shane met us and led us to the site. Site is completely secluded. There won't be anyone around, yet it's close to wineries and other local spots. Spacious tent on a wooden platform. Memory foam mattress. Great workstation for meal prep. Felt more like a room than a campsite. More amenities than we expected - plates, cookware, and more. Fall trip with night lows in the mid-thirties. They supplied a propane heater with fuel and a generous amount of firewood. We really didn't need to bring much. They supplied battery-powered lanterns, comfortable folding camp chairs, a grate for cooking over the fire, kindling, drinking water. We could've arrived with nothing but food and we would've been comfortable. Most comfortable off-grid privy I've ever used. 10/10 would come here again!

This was the perfect experience for us for a short term camping trip without all the hassle of packing and unpacking all the camping supplies. We're are already looking to book in another month.

This was our first time using Tentrr and we had an absolutely amazing time! Our hosts (Shane and Stefanie) were very friendly, accommodating, and super down to earth. Their site was the perfect get away from everything, extremely clean, and very well put together! The only thing we had to bring was food. We were on 400 acres of beautiful Virginia land, but felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. There was even a small creek right on the site. We didn't see a soul the whole time, unless we went out exploring in town. The local area has plenty to do, winery's, distilleries, restaurants, kayaking, tubing, and lots of scenery. Highly recommend the Wander site if you are ready to relax, unplug, and meet some great people! Thank you for everything and we plan on coming back in the fall!!

I absolutely loved this hidden gem. The hosts are so gracious and hospitable. The tent is clean and comfortable with all of the necessities. We went in December and even though it was chilly, we were super cozy with the heater on. The bathroom is actually not a can that you poop on like the ad says. It’s a clean, custom built cute little wooden outhouse and you don’t have to empty your poop into a NASA bag when you’re finished. That was very nice. I am looking forward to staying there once again in the Spring. 5 stars!!

Was an amazing little get away. Stephanie and hunter were amazing hosts, gave us an extra blanket, cut up firewood, drove us down and so much more. They truly care about their guests and go above and beyond. The place was beautiful, secluded and perfect for disconnecting from the real world for a little bit.
