“This place was exactly what I was looking for. I live in NYC and wanted a slightly rustic weekend outside in nature with some sense of seclusion. But I also didn't want to deal with the logistics and supplying of a serious backpacking trip on a last-minute getaway.
This place fit the bill to a T. Expansive property with lovely hills, open fields, woods. Campsite was secluded and private but still easily accessible by car (AWD might help but probably not necessary). The camp manager was hands off but readily available and super friendly when needed -- they supplied firewood and a small propane camping stove with some propane, nice bonus. And the town nearby was close enough for peace of mind for any last minute supply needs but far enough to feel the solitude. For what it's worth the town was cute too and arriving through it added to the overall tone of the weekend.

“The campsite is located in a beautiful, remote field in the Catskills region of New York. Aree was a wonderful host; he was very responsive by text and provided a lot of basic amenities for the campsite. We checked out some local hiking and swimming areas and went blueberry picking - very relaxing weekend in nature! Would definitely recommend this campsite to friends.”
“We had a great time! The tent was exactly as shown on the website. Aree was very attentive and answered all our questions. He was available to us all weekend but we didn’t need him. But glad to know he was readily available if needed. Town was close by if you needed more supplies or wanted to grab lunch/dinner. The property was huge and fun to explore. We would definitely come back again.”
