“This is an absolute gem. We would definitely recommend a wagon to cart all of your gear as it is a short walk from where you park. Ethan and Debora were so nice and available by text if needed. We enjoyed exploring the grounds around the site and even found a perfect little spot on the river to swim and lounge! We would absolutely come back! Thanks again!”
“This was our first family camping trip, inspired by being cooped up in the city during lockdown, and it provided everything we had hoped it would - even given that tropical storm Isaias hit on our second day (we moved to a hotel room for that one night of our four-night stay). The tent is sturdy and the campsite just as it appears in the pictures: secluded, well-set-up, and the adjacent creek is a lovely respite (and is further down the hill from the site than I'd thought, so it wasn't an issue when the water level rose after the storm). Do be aware that as other reviewers have mentioned it's a bit of a hike from parking, about a 5 minute walk down a fairly steep hill. We were very glad we'd brought a folding shopping cart so that we could bring our gear, but even more so the water container, to and fro. Our hosts were very helpful and accessible by text and in person, and we even bought some absolutely delicious fresh picked blueberries from their enterprising kids who had set up a roadside stand. There's a lot to do in the area even during the pandemic, with several absolutely stellar museums open with pre-registration, and practically infinite hikes for all ability levels.”
“It was an amazing spot! Such a perfect and private get away. We didn't leave the campsite almost at all, we didn't need to! It's pretty romantic too :). The campkeeper was extremely kind and made us feel right at home. Definitely going to book this spot again someday.”
“A very nice camp site. The river is scenic and refreshing. We also enjoyed nearby family biking (Ashuwilldticook Rail Trail) and a drive to the top of Mt. Greylock on our way home. Do be prepared for a walk to the site. ATV support may be available.”
“Great campsite and host! Loved the shaded campsite next to the river. Very relaxing to fall asleep to the sound of running water. Would highly recommend!”

“My family of four had a delightful trip to the campsite. We celebrated the Fourth of July there and were able to watch fireworks and fire flies in the clearing adjacent to the property. This is a very special and private spot right on the river. My children really enjoyed the frog pond and trying to catch frogs and tadpoles. It didn’t take us too long to find a spot where we could climb down to the river. We all enjoyed splashing in the river and would definitely go back. Camp keeper was easily reached by text. My recommendation to future campers would be to bring some sort of a wagon or wheelbarrow to move your supplies up and down the hill. We used a no-frills wagon from Walmart that worked no problem over the roots etc. Thank you for a wonderful first camping experience for our family.”
