“This is a great spot for an easy camping trip. Everything is set up in a tucked away private part of the awesome camp keepers property. A very short walk on a trail to the river which was nice. The wood burping stove in the tent was such a cool addition!”
“The Pipers were wonderful hosts and very flexible to our unexpected change in arrival time due to a traffic accident. This Tentrr location features all amenities as described at each Tentrr site. The Pipers had a ton of wood all ready so that we could start a fire easily in the huge barbecue grill. The river was beautiful to walk along, but keep in mind you are in the woods- there are no designated trails so you make your own path (which was half the fun!). We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!”
“This was a great trip for a first time camper! The hosts provided firewood and drove us out to the tent when we first arrived. The tent is very off the beaten path so you will absolutely experience a quiet trip. I would recommend taking an SUV or larger car because you have to drive over rural, unpaved roads to reach the location. The tent was clean and fully stocked with wood starting materials.”
“Lynn and Richard were fantastic and the site was very nice. We really liked the set-up in the camp and the extra space in the tent. All around excellent visit.”
“My husband, our dog and I had a fantastic time here! Lynne and Richard were gracious hosts - as a previous reviewer mentioned, Richard can help transport any heavy gear from where you park to the site itself (very helpful!). The site has everything you need: spacious tent with wood stove, fire pit, “loo,” picnic table and a few supplies like bug spray and a tablecloth. Our dog loved playing in the river and we loved the privacy and seclusion of the Woods, it was just what we were looking for!”
“Amazing location! Private and serene. We brought inflatable tubes and laid in the river for hours.
It’s a short walk from where you can park to the site on rough terrain. Richard was there with an ATV to help bring anything heavy but it wasn’t needed in our case - good to plan for if you’re bringing heavy coolers.
I would DEFINITELY stay here again, and hope to do so soon! Thank you Lynn and Richard!”
