Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“Place could use a little more love and attention for the price charged. No sheets, plenty of insect bites inside the tent, no conexion to the farm. It has potential tho.”
“We stayed 2 nights on this beautiful property, which has 4 sites total. When we stay again we will choose a site farther from the road noise (hence the “good” not excellent review). The owner was very responsive and informative and upfront about the site. All Tentrr required items were provided and serviceable. It rained one night and we stayed dry.
This is not car camping...so be prepared to walk a bit and possibly make a couple trips back and forth. We were able to arrange for the wonderful Valerie to take us back and forth on her motorized cart for heavier items. Do bring water for drinking as well as for washing up since the water on site is a well which requires use of the generator to pump. We did not use. Best to bring a higher clearance vehicle too though the other Tentrrs there had a regular sedan.
Overall the site is very pretty and secluded. It is a farm and it is in a woods so there will be wonderful animal noises. The road noise was the big drawback but it wasnt bad overnight. We will definitely return.”
“Beautiful campsite with tons of animals! Beaches in driving distance of the campsite with lost of tourists attractions. Quiet and secluded, a great place to get away.”
“The campsite and amenities were as described, and we had a good experience overall. The farm animals are adorable and appear well cared for.
Communication about the site and with the host could have been better. When we called upon arrival, the host seemed annoyed that we needed directions to the site (the signage had fallen down). Parking is listed as "nearby" the campsite, but was actually at least a quarter mile away, and required several trips to and from our car to unload our gear, which we were not prepared for. There was no communication with the host after our arrival, including a still unanswered email about trash disposal, and a wasted extra fee paid for feeding the goats and donkeys. There is a water pump shared between the four campsites that did not work, so we had to buy water for drinking and cleaning.”
