“Best. Weekend. Ever. We had such a wonderful time at Thomas' site, the hosts were so helpful and we really enjoyed everything so much. Being right on the river was perfect and it was fun to watch the tubers float by. We did the fridge and the grill add-ons as well as a tubing trip which was the highlight of the weekend. 100% would return again, my only advice is that if you do get the grill also bring something to cook over the fire with as it didn't get hot enough to really sear our meat. Thank you Thomas for a perfect vacation!”
“Quarry Pond Camp Sunset was awesome! Our family of four spent 3 days / 2 nights there and the site was clean, convenient and had a great view of the river. The platform which had electric and a gas grill plus tables/chairs and utensils was super helpful and kept clean and organized. Thomas our host always seemed telepathically present whenever we needed him and was helpful and nice. The extra bonus was having access not only to clean cold water but HOT water as well! Only other tips are be a fan of chipmonks and ask for the BIG duck when you do the river. :)”
“My boyfriend and I looked high and low for a good site to spend our first camping trip together, and we were NOT disappointed! Thomas was very considerate all around and we appreciated the extra effort on his part assuring we had all of the directions and necessities needed for our stay. We brought most things along, but Thomas truly thought of it all for those less prepared. You're supplied with outlets, a super long extension cord, a bathroom tent with the toilet, utensils, hot and cold water, not to mention the grill worked lovely and the canvased platform/dinner table was a real bonus. There is also a sun shower provided to you but we used our own. Overall the site looks *exactly* as advertised and the river view was gorgeous. It is a south facing site and the view of the night sky is GREAT if you're here for a star show. Super charming, just follow the directions provided to you closely. (Thanks Max, lol)
Also, I actually liked that the fire pit wasn't on top of everything else. It gave us a greater sense of space and we cooked all of our food on the actual grill anyway. Extension cord reaches all the way to the fire pit too in case you need to charge your speaker or devices while getting toasty. Other campers are near but not terribly close, and neither is the main road. You still get a good sense of privacy here.

“We had the most wonderful trip. The site is absolute heaven and nearly every rafter that floated by commented on what an awesome site it was. Thomas couldn’t have been more hospitable. The power had gone out from the storm and he even hooked a generator up for us to have power at the site for the fridge. He even brought down some board games for my boys! We will definitely be returning very soon!”

“We had a great time at River's Edge Sunset! Thomas our host was very accommodating. The site included pretty much everything you need for a great time. We still over packed, but now we know for next time!!!! Our only suggestion would be to clear some of the brush away (prickle bushes). We've already recommended tentrr to others!”
