“We'll be back! Lori was a fantastic host and the campsite was perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay. The tent was clean, spacious, and full of thoughtful details (toilet paper, lanterns, etc.). There are a number of great restaurants and breweries nearby if you'd like to venture outside of the campsite, although I highly recommend taking full advantage of the firepit and beautiful wooded surroundings.”
“Incredible spot! We absolutely loved the stay here, it was gorgeous and private. Also super cozy by the fire pit and warm in the tent with the gas heater. A 4WD vehicle is a must if it’s wet or snowy, our car was stuck immediately when it rained. *also Tenterr charges a $25 fee for bedding, which I don’t remember reading in the description. The bedding however was very very comfortable, worth it!”
“Our family had a great stay at the Frisky Sward campsite! Tucked away for a relaxing experience in nature yet close enough to town to experience all of the local towns and everything they had to offer; antique shops, breweries etc. The heater works really well and keeps the tent nice and toasty on cooler nights. Lori was very communicative; unfortunately we couldn’t do the yoga class offered because of time constraints but hope to be back again!”
“Great overnight stay for our son returning to Bard College. Very nearby Redhook with food, shops and transportation within walking distance, but the experience itself was quiet and rural, a great mix of the best of both worlds! WiFi in the Barn.”
“Great host! I would highly recommend staying. Very clean- well kept and quiet. Perfect spot, nestled in the woods but very close to town. Walking distance even.”
“The stay was as advertised. The property is easy to find thanks to Lori, the host, who communicated exact directions over the phone. The tent is clean and has most of what you’d need. Lori was also able to provide comfortable bedding (for a charge) as I did not bring my own.”
