Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“Everything about this was amazing. The setting is beautiful, and it’s only a mile and a half to one of the most stunning spots for kayaking I’ve ever been. Adam was a wonderful host, available anytime we had questions (and he rents kayaks!). The Tentrr tent was great, and we brought a few extra tents for family. We will be staying here again down the road!”
“This is a comfortable and roomy tent with a queen-size bed. The property is impressive and the site has a great view of the hills in the distance. Water and a cooking station are provided along with cooking items, a fire pit and chairs. This is still camping, but at a more comfortable level for those who do not want to sleep on the ground. There is a lot of hiking in the area and the town of Wilmington has several great dining experiences. Bathroom facilities are a bit sparse but the owners have plans for upgrading soon. I would go back again.”
“My friend and I took a spontaneous trip to Vermont. Planned it last minute and it and Grateful Acres was one of the first campsite I saw.
Do yourself a favor and BOOK this site. It exceeded all of my expectations. It was my first time using tentrr and they set the bar SO HIGH. We ended up not having to use a lot of our supplies because they were already available at the site!
The hosts were so helpful and approachable! 100% good vibes only. My friend and I will be back and we plan on bringing a huge group and taking up all the camping spaces. SO FUN!”
“We only stayed one night but it was the perfect, relaxing night to decompress watching the sunset from the Adirondack chairs, cooking over the fire and falling asleep to the sounds of a neighboring owl
The hosts are super friendly and attentive - they have thought of absolutely everything to make the stay the most comfortable it can be. This was a huge upgrade from other Tentrr sites we have stayed at. We will definitely be back in the future and recommend it to anyone else headed this way. We were really impressed with what the hosts have done to their property to accommodate visitors - it’s a mix of camp sites and tiny cabins, with the Tentrr having a ton of privacy in the corner spot. There was plenty of space to have our dog off leash without any concern he might invade another’s space.
In the Morning we drove down to the reservoir at the end of their road and it is a beautiful place to hike, kayak or just hang out. Only downside was the bugs in late May are pretty brutal… but that’s VT and the host provides bug spray and a citronella lamp. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!”
“This campsite is an awesome getaway, quiet and peaceful, with great views and generous amenities to go along with it. Adam was an incredible host, always making sure we were safe and enjoying ourselves, and very accomodating for us especially in the cold Vermont winter. Recommend this campsite 100%!”
