“The camping was so peaceful. There are three camping sites, very spaced apart. The tent was very clean with any instructions and questions answered. It was very clean and ready to use! The atmosphere was beautiful and peaceful. Insanely close to Sleeping Bear Dunes, less than 20 minutes. They have a small market near by for food and some camping needs. You can walk around the woods and area, it was very peaceful. We had a great visit. The fire pit had a grate for cooking, a huge jug of water filled and ready to use, a hose a little down from our site. A bag shower which we found hilarious and fun. They also had wood to purchase. The owners were friendly and overall a great time!”
“The tent and mattress were great. We slept well. It was nice to have a picnic table and fire pit. The host also let us check in early. I do feel the description of the property is accurate. The location is in a field and the front of the tent is facing a back road that does get a decent amount of traffic (we went during memorial day). However, there is no camp store. But there is a great farmers stand on the corner. The instructions are unclear of where to get additional water and to throw away your trash. The solar shower is not set up, so you will need to do that when you get there. Also, when trying to find the location look for a small sign. The road is not well defined to get to the camp sites. Overall, the stay was okay but not worth the value.”

We are very sorry to hear that you had a less-than-ideal stay at one of our campsites. Since your review, we've gotten in touch with the host at this particular site and addressed some of your concerns. She is aware of them and moving forward with future bookings, will be more mindful of the items you mentioned.

You’ll need to bring all your sleeping supplies and be prepared to cleanup after you use the toilet. It’s definitely an adventure and a fun way to explore the outdoors.”
