“My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at Nuthatch. Everything really worked out perfectly for the two nights we stayed. The weather was wonderful, the bugs weren't a problem, the night sky was clear, the tent was cozy, we were able to cook some good meals, the sunsets were beautiful, and there was wildlife abound, Jonah and his brother greeted us upon arrival and gave us great information to use for the campsite and the surround area. Jonah was very communicative throughout our stay and made sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Our favorite part was probably relaxing down by the pond. It was very peaceful there. While chilly, I enjoyed taking a dip into the water. We explored the surrounding towns and found them to be very cute, especially coming from the congestion of NYC. Finding good local beer, cheese, honey, etc was incredibly easy. I would recommend Nuthatch to anyone and would happily stay here again. It was such a peaceful and private experience. We began missing it the second we started driving away!”
“We really enjoyed our stay at Nuthatch. Noah was great, very helpful both before, during, and after the trip. He had great suggestions for things to do in the area. We enjoyed a visit to the Chocolate Barn, Brown's Brewing, The Taproom at Catamount Glass, and Lye Brook Falls. Nuthatch also sits on a beautiful property with lots to do and a beautiful view. We would definitely recommend this site!”
“Nuthatch was lovely, even in the rain. Tent was cozy and watertight, Noah gave us all kinds of excellent local tips. My sister and I enjoyed exploring nearby Bennington all day Sat, and Brown's Brewery for dinner was AMAZING--they had live music and we had the short ribs and green pizza followed by flourless chocolate cake, washed down with delicious pints. Great location and great (first!) tentrr experience.”
“This was my first Tentrr experience and it didn't disappoint. Myself and two friends went up for a quick one night stay. We brought my small dog, who loved every minute. We were greeted by our host at the tent site which you can park very close to. He gave us a tour of the site and had already assembled a fire in the pit for us! They provided plenty of wood and kindling including some birch bark which is nature's own fire starter. It worked great. The site sits atop a hill overlooking a serene meadow and the adirondacks visible in the distance. We had fun climbing a hay stack in the meadow. You can hear cows in the distance. So beautiful. The tentrr was set up with everything we needed. The wood stove in the tent was crucial for the night. The temperature dipped into the 30's overnight. But we were comfy cozy on the mattress and cot. We all fit, including the dog.
Our host told us about a great brewery just 3 miles away. Browns Brewing. The restaurant interior is beautiful and worth checking out.
In the morning we took a 10 minute walk to a really serene area with a swimming hole and picnic table. My friend jumped in and loved it.
