“My husband and I really enjoyed our time here it’s private, you feel very safe, nice neighborhood, the bed was extremely comfortable we slept great and it’s a beautiful spot on the lake! Greg the host is friendly and helpful! Be sure to check Tentrrs suggested packing list so that you have all the bedding and necessary items to make your stay great. We plan to go back!!”
“My partner and I decided to camp out very late at night. We were both exhausted from our long trip from jersey. We wanted to stay in for a night and it was perfect for us. In the morning, we enjoyed paddle boarding and fishing. Love this place but this is not a glancing experience. A little cleaning and additional stuff inside the tent would make it better. It was almost as if it was never cleaned.
Make sure to bring your own linens and air bed if you can. The bed provided is not clean, bed bugs and dog hair are visible. Bring your own fan as we during the summer time, the fan provided and lights are were not charged.”

“I am having a hard time trying to find the correct words for this review because this place was special. it was exactly what I needed to decompress from the stressor of everyday life and just... exist. The host was incredibly kind, easy to get a hold of and so laid back which was refreshing because finding someone chill with having a 140lb Mastiff in their space is no easy feat. Time stands still here. thank you for allowing us to experience this remote slice of peace.”
“We had a great time at Greg's site! The lake is amazing and we spent the whole weekend out on our paddle boards. The tent was comfortable and the site was easy to find. Greg was so nice and brought us some wood for the fire pit when we were running low. We appreciated that there was bug spray in the deck box because we forgot ours and the ticks are bad this year!
We really enjoyed seeing and hearing all the birds (so many herons!). No road noise except the very occasional sound of someone on the gravel road. The site felt very private but was only a short drive to Roxboro if you need to restock.
We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely return!”
“I was looking for a great location to be able to rest, relax and not worry about life around me. This location was perfectly set up. I had easy access to the water and was able to sit on the dock to soak up some sun.
Greg was a great host, leaving some basics at the campsite made things easy and less stressful having to worry about forgetting something back home.
I would highly recommend this location to anyone.”
