When we arrived John sat with us an told us the history of the property, very interesting and informative. Our children thoroughly enjoyed their time. When they weren’t kayaking they were swimming. “This site is a little slice of heaven - secluded, peaceful , and amazing sunset views over the Androscoggin River. We loved the hammock, canoe, and easy access to the river. The tent fit us perfectly, 2 adults and 1 child, with plenty of room for an additional blow up mattress. This was by far one of the best camping experiences we have had. John and Pat have put a lot of thought and heart into preserving the area and we loved hearing about the history of their property. We would book again in a heartbeat!”
“First off wanted to say how great John and his wife were as a host! John loves the land and really has done a great job preserving it. The site was beautiful and extremely well kept. Was a little disappointed at first to see that there wasn’t a camp stove because we were there at the beginning of October. John told us that he set up the propane space heater which worked better and was not as big of a fire hazard. It ended up making the tent very warm and cozy! Safe to say we will be back soon!”
“2nd time here and I can't say enough good things about this property. The owner John is very nice and accommodating the place is also kid friendly my 3 kids 6,4,2 really enjoyed this place along with our 3 dogs! it feels like you are 100 miles off grid but really you are just a few minutes away from stores, highways...paddle board rentals are 5 minutes away we also were able to get farm fresh eggs from Johns daughter!!! not sure what you are looking for but if it's a total reset book this place now!”
