“Glamp Frogmore was nothing short of perfect for a fun, family retreat. We love traditional camping, but upgrading the experience at Glamp Frogmore made it extra special. The hike to the Audubon reserve that is accessible from the site was perfect for our young boys aged 7 and 5. Playing Uno by lantern light in the spacious, beautiful tent was fun and comfortable. You can easily cook and prepare meals using the well stocked kitchen area, but we took advantage of delivery options such as freshly brewed hot coffee and homemade muffins from Amy and Justin for breakfast. We look forward to returning soon!”
“I surprised my boyfriend for his birthday. He is a camper, I am not. Upon arriving at the site we felt comfortable and welcomed. The amenities were above and beyond, from the large private surroundings, the spacious tent and more. Anything we needed was provided by our host, from fresh baked pastries to hot coffee. For all the non-campers like me, I would highly recommend this experience to everyone, we had a great time and Marc and I can't wait to return. Thank you Amy and Justin”
“We had a lovely stay at Glamp Frogmore!! From the clear signage pointing us to where we should park (Little wooden frogs!) to a provided wagon to help convey our gear to the site, our hosts made our stay very enjoyable. We were greeted with a cooler filled with ice, more cookware than we would ever have thought we needed, a very tidy site, and THE MOST comfy bed - better than ours at home! The tent is huge, with a sitting area and an outside deck, and the outhouse had an iPhone charger! Loved the secluded spot in the midst of the woods, felt like we were far away from everything! We will be back again!”
“Our stay at Glamp Frogmore was epic! We had everything we needed and yet felt like we could truly get away from it all. Audobon trails are right off the property, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the grill area was really well equipped. Justin and Amy were great hosts — very responsive and very accomodating. Make sure to get the s'mores for evenings and the muffins/coffee/cocoa for when you wake up — so delicious.”
“We had a fabulous time at Glamp Frogmore! From all the necessities like cookware and comfy linens (the bed is the most comfortable we have ever slept on) to the beautiful extra touches (a hammock, fresh-cut lilacs, and even a solar-powered, motion-sensor bathroom light), Amy and Justin have really thought of everything to make this spot feel like a home in the woods! We brought our camping tote which we bring on more primitive camping trips, and it went untouched in our car during our entire stay. The cooler was stocked with ice and an AMAZING selection of local, craft beers, and the coffee and muffins were a real treat in the morning (we highly recommend those add-ons, and I am sure the others are great, too.) The site is super private, yet closely abuts the beautiful Audubon Maxwell Mays Wildlife Refuge, and during peak spring migration, you’ll get to enjoy a number of different bird species in the mornings, as we did, including Ovenbirds, Scarlett Tanagers, Wood Thrushes, warblers and more. Whether you live locally (we do) or are traveling from afar, Glamp Frogmore is the perfect place the enjoy one of the best gems of Rhode Island – its beautiful forests!”
