Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“Bob is a phenomenal host and really went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. He even kept in constant communication via text message to answer our questions while he was out of town during our stay. I highly recommend this site for anyone, especially families with young kids. However, the rough dirt/rocky roads to access the site cannot be underestimated. We had a sedan and SUV, but our SUV fared much better. Most locals had pickup trucks for good reason. I also received great written directions from Bob since your GPS will not take you directly there. It was still tough to find at night since street signs were hard to see or nonexistent in some places. This Google Maps pin will take you straight there:

“Great spot on private land. Our host was available right at check in to make sure we had what needed and was quick to respond to all of our chat inquiries and needs.
The spot is perfect for a couple looking for some seclusion or a quick weekend getaway. We had our dog on site and he enjoyed the spot as well.
We had a bit of a wet weekend due to the weather and had no issues waiting out the rain inside the tent. We will definitely return (hopefully with a bit less weather!).
Thanks so much for your site!”
“Bob and Chris' farm was a nice place for me, my wife and our twin 7-year olds to stay. We loved how responsive and proactive Bob was with communication leading up to our trip. The Tentrr setup was terrific -- having a ready-setup tent, with a bed, a stove, a patio, chairs, a picnic table, cooking supplies, dishwashing water, a sunshower and firewood made camping much easier! The animals on their farm were friendly (if understandably shy) and a lot of fun for my daughters to interact with. Also, the Tranks were kind about letting us arrive earlier in the day on our first day.
The location itself was a slightly mixed bag. The tent site was nicely shaded (thankfully as we were there on a series of 97-degree days). At night, the lack of light pollution meant amazing views of the stars. Despite feeling relatively remote, there were occasional cars that passed by on an adjacent road relatively regularly, even during the middle of the night. The farm is down ~2 miles of gravel and then dirt roads, about a 25-minutes to Oroville Lake. Several elements noted in the listing weren't available -- seasonal streams were dry as were blackberry bushes. The zipline and ropes course weren't available either.
All in all, we had a very positive experience!”
