“We stayed at Sakonbet River Site. It was secluded and a nice view of the stars. Blake was a great host and was there to answer questions. Close to the beach and fishing. We would stay again!”
“Our host Blake was absolutely phenomenal! So friendly, responsive, helpful, and communicative. He helped us get our things up to the site and kept us informed regarding other guests on the grounds.
The space had everything you could need, including an extra tent!! He provided more than what was expected (towels, plenty of fresh water, fire wood, kindling, a bottle of wine, paper towels, flash lights, bottle opener, the works!)
By far the most unique camping experience I have had. The site was entirely wooded, with a spacious opening for the site itself, and very private. Unlike many camp grounds, you are a comfortable distance from the other site, meaning no unwanted disturbances.
The two hammocks, tent, and fire pit were fantastic! There is an open shower space. I was skeptical about the solar bag shower approach, but, honestly, it was one of the best experiences of my life!! Outdoor showers for the win!

“We had a great time and the host was very accommodating. It was a very hot and humid weekend, so there wasn’t a lot of shelter from that and we did bring a portable fan, but the tent was great and it was very quiet and peaceful.”
“Beautiful spot...so special. Owner was quick to respond to questions. Only complaint was that there were some gaps in the tent where bugs could enter so there were quite a few. Otherwise it was truly amazing.”

After booking both sites, I can attest that both are absolutely beautiful and offer a comfortable isolation from their surroundings, while still maintaining a convenient distance for quick stops into town. The CampKeeper is completely attentive and is a pleasure to work with! It's clear he's passionate about providing the best experience possible, and is excited to keep improving the already amazing sites. I'm looking forward to booking these sites again next season!”
